The staff was great. The lady at the bar was so pleasant and accommodating. The property was clean and well kept.

The pillows were extremely soft and flat. I wish there was a third trash can inside the bathroom and a shower stool for balance when shaving. Granted I’m 60 with fibromyalgia but I don’t feel handicapped just yet, I may need a little help. And lastly , I move around at night and the sofa was very uncomfortable and way past time for replacement. I know these seem picky but I felt a need to express my opinion because most people don’t spend as much time in the room as I do , needing to rest during outings for meals or sightseeing. The overall stay was good and we appreciated having this hotel in a nice area but the traffic was extremely loud at night. I originally booked the Hyatt Place but learned upon arrival the elevators were out due to construction and took the free cancellation. I found your hotel on Booking and had a room in minutes. Thankfully you were across the street.

Very disappointed with our stay at Hyatt Place Charlotte/Arrowood. We called ahead to let the hotel know we would be arriving late, yet when we got here, we were told our reserved room had been given away. We specifically requested a handicap-accessible room because I have a torn meniscus, arthritis, and serious knee issues that make it very difficult to use stairs. To make matters worse, the elevator is currently broken. While the room looks nice aesthetically, the cleanliness was unacceptable. The pillows had someone else’s makeup and hair on them, and the bathtub was clogged and would not drain properly. For the price paid and the circumstances explained ahead of time, this experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. I expected much better accommodations and customer service.

My stay at the Hyatt was genuinely better than expected. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and overall a great experience. The only downside was that the elevators were not working during my visit, and we didn't find out until we arrived, which made things a bit inconvenient. Even with that, the service and quality of the hotel made the stay enjoyable, and I would still consider returning once the elevator issue is resolved.

It was an overall decent hotel, but I did NOT appreciate having to walk up 5 flights of stairs with all my outdoor gear multiple times per day. They claimed they couldn’t give me a room on a lower floor since they had none of my purchased room type available any lower. But I think they should have upgraded customers free of charge since it was THEIR fault the elevators were out of service.

I stayed at this location on May 4th and May 9th and had problems at both times. On the 4th the commode would not flush and there was water on the floor. When I called the front desk they said they would come look at the issue. After 20-30 minutes I had to go to the front desk and asked for maintenance to fix the problem. She told me that they would not be back until the next day. At that point we were moved to another room. Upon check out I received a bill for $30. I had used points for a free night. The lady said she fixed the issue and gave me a bill that did not show any charges but also did not show where my charge card had been credited. A few days later the charge did show up on my card. I had to call Hyatt to get the problem resolved. On my stay on the 9th after we had been in the room for about an hour we noticed ants and gnats in the window area on the blinds and on the walls. Later we noticed them on the night stand next to the bed and on the floor in the bathroom and hallway of the bath. I called the front desk and they we busy and asked if they could call me back. After about 20 minutes I decided to go to the front desk to discuss the issue with them. They said they would come to the room to look at the issue. I told them I just wanted another room but they told me they were booked and no rooms were available. When I told them I was not going to stay in the room even if they sprayed for the insects they then told me they had a cancellation and then moved me to another room. The next day before I checked out I noticed 2 charges on my credit card. One for $50 and another for $47.10. At check out I was told that they fixed the issue and I will not be charged for my points free night. At this time not sure that will happen since it may take a few days for the hold to come off or actually charge like the previous stay on the 4th. This location is next to a busy road and is very noisy at night and early in the mornings. This is not our typical experience with Hyatt. Breakfast was not as good as other Hyatt locations. My wife and I are very disappointed with the experience we had on both stays at this location.
