Our trip to Charlotte was dampened by our stay at the Hyatt. Check in started an hour late and the staff was very snappy. The elevators were broken, so they offered each room a complimentary bottle of water. I wish they contacted guests prior to arriving because we had a disabled guest with us that had to climb to the third floor. Our room was dirty when we arrived and the hallways smelled like rotten food. The blinds had a broken cord and there was a bright light outside of our room, so it was hard to sleep. Guests were running in the halls at midnight and the walls did not block out the noise. When we got to breakfast, the area was full of trash and there was not a lot of seating. We were very disappointed in our Hyatt experience.
