Despite the second bed in this twin room being a hard, folded out couch, I was quite happy with this hotel. The shower pressure is superb, there's more space in the room than the ibis next door, and they offer Yorkshire Tea. It's also very easy to get to the NEC from here and the staff were very helpful.

"Great room, food and staff plus departure check-in is opposite the hotel."

My wife and I stayed on a Sunday evening at the Novotel @ Birmingham Airport as we had an early morning departure the next day. As I mistakenly drove into NCP car park and then premium parking, as opposed to the valet parking, it was a stressful check in for me. However, the friendly receptionist responded to my situation by upgrading us to an executive room - great customer service. The room was bright, airy and comfortable with a large king-size double bed. There was a large TV and the free wi-fi was fast. As we had an early flight, we did not have breakfast but we did have an evening meal in the restaurant after having a drink in the popular bar. We opted for chicken curry of the week £21.50) and chicken supreme (£21.95) for mains - both were tasty with plenty of meat. For dessert we shared a Creme brûlée (£8.95) - which was delicious. We would recommend the Novotel if you are looking for somewhere to stay at the airport.
