Aresti Old Town by Bilbao Living

Maria is a super host. The videos and all the info that she share in advance is so great, besides this her availability to answer super fast any question or difficulties, this is one of the reasons that makes the place so great. The apartment is perfectly clean, nice, comfortable, with everything that you need including all small details (like the highchair for our baby, coffee, tee, sugar, salt and spices to cook & cleaning products fully available in case of need). She cares of small details like umbrellas available, liquid soap / shampoo & city map. The place have comfortable beds (1 queen bed and 2 single 80x200) which clean and comfortable bed linen and pillows. The apartment is in great localization, not far from attractions and next to bus stop and metro line.

The only bad thing is the parking. Parking in front the apartment is impossible (always full and not enough spaces in the street). So when we arrived we parked directly in the parking lot (which we reserved), however, besides looking near the apartment....is not... mainly when you have luggage (or in our case, plus trolley and kids). The distance is around 1 KM but uphill. The parking itself is great (in another building , properly cover parking and safe), however this small "stress" when we arrived was upsetting. Luckily Bilbao is amazing and the place too and we easily forgot that. Note: in the check out we parked in the bus stop to have the luggage's in the car, since moving luggage's to the parking (kids and stuffs) was out of question. Luckily was 5am and the bus wasn't circulating.

The apartment is very nice, spacious, clean and quiet. Very close to a metro station, walkable to the old town. Lots of information by the friendly host.

The booking site shows the location much closer to the old town. It was thus a surprise that the apartment is further away, a walk along a steep hill which might not be comfortable for some travellers.

Big, comfortable apartment. Very clean with everything inside. Tea, coffee, all for cooking. Owners are super responsive people, punctual. Provided all the information about the city. It was very pleasant to communicate with them. Highly recommend to stay here and if I would go to Bilbao again I will stay exactly in this appointment. Great location

Maria, the host, provided all the necessary information in details and with extreme accuracy. She daily communicated with us, giving us advises, taking care of any requests and wishes we had. Her standards are very high, services better than in any hotel. The apartment is spacious, three rooms with well equipped kitchen, clean - just spotless! Its location is perfect for exploring the city, few steps from subway and only couple of minute walk from old city center.

The building and apartment felt safe. Everything was as described and as photographed. good instructions from the host and she sent lots of helpful information. In old town 5/10 minutes from metro. good location.
