Irísh Lodge South Bend

The room was great. Very large suite with big closets, excellent size kitchen and separate bedroom. The kitchen had all we needed to make meals. The bedroom was spacious and private. However, at check-in we were not given any info: where to park, how rooms were divided even and odd sides of the building, what time breakfast was served, or check out time. Also we stayed for 5 days but our room was never cleaned, towels never replaced (we even asked for new towels), nor our trash taken out (we did ourselves multiple times). Not sure if we’d stay again.

Room not ready until 5 and was promised at 3. Bugs, dirt and filth in bathroom, toilet and entire room. Ice machines did not work except for 1 on another floor. But the front desk sent us to wrong area and staff we encountered had no idea where to send us. Drapes had mold on them. Hallways were filthy. Chairs in breakfast area were just filthy.

9 out of 10, just starting to be a tiny bit run down. Our room was very clean and comfortable.

Room was not clean. Dirty sheets on beds. Room was not available at check in time. Not remotes for both tv’s.

Horrible all the way around. From check in to check out.

Would never stay here again. Stayed here with team families for a soccer tournament this past weekend. The cleaning staff walked out in the morning so many of our group was unable to check into their rooms. Front desk staff was doing the best they could but people had to drive back home, clean their own rooms, put sheets on their own beds or find a new hotel (many sold out). We didn't have towels in our room so we were using hand towels to dry off. Nothing was stocked in their hotel store. We felt so bad for the front desk staff. Not sure how management could have let something like this happen.

Terrible experience. We arrived at our hotel and we were told that the room was available but it was not clean. Housekeeping left a lot of rooms dirty and they didn’t have us much options. Unfortunately there were no rooms available in the area. We had to clean our own room and the staff did not even seem concern or trying to do anything to accommodate the people. They also didn’t offer any type of discount or compensation for all the trouble we went thru.

Run down location off the highway. Old facility, dark dreary colors, old carpet, rusted hardware, missing mattress covers, diaper left on the pool deck.
