The Westin Governor Morris, Morristown

The Westin Governor Morris in Morristown, NJ has a wonderful team (particular shoutout to Christina!) who helped us coordinate a hotel room block for our wedding guests as well as our wedding transportation. During our wedding weekend, they gave out our welcome bags to our guests and made the check in process seamless. They also helped us book additional events like breakfast at their restaurant, reserving tables near the bar for after our wedding reception, and ensured that our guests were taken care of for a variety of questions that we sent to them. They were super thoughtful and sent us a very sweet gift of champagne and other bakery items to congratulate us after our marriage in our room. Whenever we asked for the latest room block reservation list, they happily provided it and did so very quickly. This helped us manage all of the small details that go into a wedding with much more ease and confidence. Thank you, Westin Governor Morris team!

They don’t care about customers. This is my 3rd time that I am staying in this hotel and I give up . As a very long time loyal customer of Marriott BONVOY I was expecting a better treatment but forget about it . They don’t care if the rules that they need to respect and even give a room on top of the dumpster to the most loyal and recurrent customer . On top of it I was trying to watch TV every 5 minutes the screen is frozen Also coming back at the hotel around 4pm (I left at 7.15am) I was expecting my room to be cleaned and ready to use . Not at all . I called the front desk : no apologies They don’t care about their customers So perhaps good for weeding but for business travelers forget it

We stayed at the Westin Governor Morris for 2 nights to attend a wedding. The hotel was very very nice, immaculately clean and very well maimtained. Our room was large and comfortable, and our bed was very comfortable. Our room was very quiet all night. I was impressed wirh the facilities that the hotel had to support wedding preparations, particularly a wardrobe suite which I was told provided a very comfortable space for brides and bridal parties to prepare. Special thanks to Anthony who helped us with just about everything and was a great source of information about the hotel and the surrounding area. He was a joy to talk with. The front desk staff was also helpful with every interaction. The hotel has a very nice restaurant and lounge. We also enjoyed talking with a bartender - I don't recall his name - who was a real joy to talk to both Friday afternoon and Saturday afternoon - not that we go to bars and lounges often! - and then was on the job at the Sunday morning breakfast brunch asking if we wanted our skinny margaritas. He was great. The staff over all was great. You can't go wrong at the Westin Governor Morris!

The hotel was a great stay. My man Mitchell at the front door was very helpful during our entire stay. Helped me out a few different times.

Mitchell was great. He offered such a warm welcome upon arrival. He was very engaging, and took the time to learn and remember our names. The hotel was lovely as well, and made for the perfect stay on a friends wedding weekend.

The location was very convenient for us since we were visiting family. The lobby was beautiful & doormen very friendly & professional. The room felt very “tired” especially compared to the lobby. Our “view” was the heating/AC system for the hotel. Bathroom was very small - 2 people could not share & fixtures could definitely use an update. Not a great space to take a break or relax in.

I attended a conference at the hotel. Mitchell, one of the bell captains, was delightful. He made me feel like a welcomed and appreciated guest.

Family function. Met expectations. Room a bit small and bathroom needs upgrade. Staffing good. Winston is a treat. Thank you.

Mitchell was a great help to start off the trip. Really appreciated his service and the rest of the stay went pleasantly.
