Cinnamon Bentota Beach - Signature Selection

Wow. What a hotel. From the moment we arrived with the welcoming ceremony to our beautiful room. Just fantastic from Buffet breakfast, pools, spas and different restaurant offerings for dinner. We went for a wedding and there was about 70 of us. If would suit couples, group of friends or in our case, a 3 day wedding. Nothing was too much trouble…. The staff were warm, welcoming and fantastic. Also thanks to Mina who helped me with my saree.

The viwe, room and also the atmosphere are really excellent. Specially the girl who work for reception sulochana is kind and helpful. Thank you all.

Our experience at Cinnamon Bentota Beach was truly exceptional. The culinary offerings were outstanding. The memorable flavors and inviting aromas throughout the dining halls still resonate. Furthermore, the resort's stunning artwork and unique architectural design are remarkable. The accommodations were excellent, providing a highly comfortable stay. Finally, the excellent service provided by the warm and beautiful staff is greatly appreciated.

Incredible resort offering total relaxation and tranquility coupled with excellent service and amenities

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a very pleasant experience. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable environment throughout my stay. The staff was friendly, courteous, and always willing to assist with any requests. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth and efficient. The hotel's location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and transportation. The facilities, including the restaurant and common areas, were well-kept and enjoyable. Overall, the service exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We booked this hotel for 2 weeks for our 40th wedding anniversary having previously stayed at Cinnamon Lodge, Habarana ( which is AMAZING). Unfortunately there was a fuel shortage in Sri Lanka which resulted in cancelled trips. However the hotel is great. The staff are amazing with a shout out to Dehami and Sanjay (guest liaison) , Prideep (pool), Chandigarh, Dananjaya, Udayangani (restaurants) Dinethra (bar) and Hazar. The pools are like getting into a warm bath. The beach is fantastic and we saw a turtle laying her eggs early one morning thanks to Prideep spotting her and coming to tell us as we were sitting on the patio. The rooms are really spacious. We did a boat trip down the estuary and saw so much wildlife including kingfishers, fruit bats and lots more Things that could be improved is there is no dressing table with a mirror where you can sit and style your hair/do your make up. Nowhere to dry costumes towels etc. You have to pay extra to eat at the Italian which is probably why it was always empty - you should consider using it like sea meets spice and get credit towards eating there. I went to the management cocktail party and felt isolated as they sat me outside whilst everyone else was inside so I left. What I will never forget is how I felt on leaving and how special we were made to feel. The restaurant staff all crowded round our table and gave us some special chocolates as a leaving gift. The guest liaison gave us a personalised luggage label and hotel branded polo shirts. They also arranged for a lady in traditional costume to sing us a poem as we left. That’s something we will never forget. Thank you so much for making the holiday so unforgettable and amazing. Would we return- absolutely.

Amazing food and spacecious rooms

My husband and I got married at Cinnamon Bentota Beach and this experience was nothing short of magical!! The hotel staff went above and beyond to accommodate all our requests and make this stay incredible for all of our friends and family! We have truly taken over the hotel and with around 75 rooms booked, I can safely say everyone had only compliments to say! From cocktails in the pool bar to having Ox carts on the lawn. We all felt truly spoilt and couldn’t imagine our 3 days festivities to be any better! We will always hold Cinnamon Bentota close to our hearts! Special mentions to Mina, who was the kindest souls we have met and looked after our family when they got sick and ended in the hospital. The hotel staff made sure they are fed, looked after and have plenty of pillows! All the staff have put their heart into their work and we are eternally grateful! We will most definitely be returning to cinnamon Bentota for our future anniversaries! 💕
