I know the hotel well and love it! Great sunroom restaurant and wonderful fireplace in winter. Good food and pleasant people.

But...I was terribly disappointed when I arrived there. Due to renovations there was noise, dust, and chaos. The worst thing was the fact that the lovely sunroom was closed off for breakfast lunch and dinner, and we could only eat in the dark.(With artificial light all day!) So... I had my meals in other restaurants in town where I could see the sun and the spring green and blossom trees. Also the staff seemed quite inexperienced. If only I had been informed beforehand, I would have changed my plans!!! The manager of the hotel was willing to give me a discount, but since this had to go through Booking.com I sent you an email with the details. And I never heard back!!! Seems the smart thing would have been to book directly with the hotel.
