Madison Hotel

There is no WOW factor when entering this hotel. Major renovations needed. The conservatory is beautiful but the outside area is less to be desired. Staff were awesome. Rooms are ok but don’t bother with the text or email you’ll receive asking if your prefer a certain floor or a room with a view. You will get what they give. Food was ok and bar areas are nice. Breakfast offers nice options.

Good value. Appreciate that the hotel stays in touch throughout the stay via text. Beds are comfortable and rooms are a good size with plenty of seating. Especially enjoy that breakfast is included and $20 daily vouchers are good for snacks or one of the restaurants.

This is a hotel that is made for weddings. If you’re not attending a wedding being held plan to be dominated by the guests of their many many booked events weddings, baby/bridal showers, communion parties all one after the other Saturday and Sunday from morning till early morning(after midnight). The wedding music blasted through the common space from evening till after midnight. Then these hotel guests carried their behaviors up through the common space’s hallways; needed to be told please quiet down so we could sleep. The breakfast which was complimentary and not of great quality, was again dominated by wedding groups. Loud, loud groups; oblivious to others simply there to eat calmly and quietly. Professional Photographers set up in the lobby at a cross space which caused unrelated guests to have to hold their passing through doorways for photos to be taken. There needs to be an assessment of the situation so that The Madison can house and accommodate ALL guests not just catering to one. I will say that two of the four front desk employees were kind and professional; the other two rude and disrespectful. I left feeling overwhelmed and unrested.

We tried out our hotel that we using for a wedding reception. We found the place very worn needs to be painted floors cleaned vacuumed, hoping that it will change in a year.

The Madison was perfect in every way! The food was outstanding and the service was as well. All the decor is so beautiful from the conservatory to the ball room.

Love staying here. Friendly staff and Rod’s never disappoints.

Very nice hotel, wonderful staff, clean, nice size rooms, gorgeous garden and patio area. Restaurant attached is very good with wide range of menu items in beautiful dining room. Great location only a few minutes drive to downtown Morristown and very easy return to expressway. Only reason for 4 stars versus 5 is that the bed could be more comfortable as it has a lumpy mattress. Otherwise would recommend.
