Morristown Hotel .wedding venue The wedding in the Conservatory was very special. The cocktail hour was super. However the dinner service was abrupt. We had to take our untouched salads back from the server. My wife’s request for tea generated a disgruntled grunt etc. CONCERNS: …shower/tub had water pouring out of the shower phead and tub spout. We had to turn off the water while showering to avoid flooding. Maintenance came in under 10 minutes. The part would not be available until after we left. Why didn’t Housekeeping report? …After the wedding was over, some of the attendees gathered in the lobby. A manager walked up to my son, and said, “If they don’t leave, I am calling the police. Is your manager delusional? Another son, said the twenty year olds were goofing around without being inappropriate. Eventually, someone provided an undersized room for them to hangout. Both of my sons are over forty. Blasting music vibrated all of the rooms on the second and third doors where our family was for two days. Why weren’t we told in advance that your hotel had inadequate noise suppression insulation? Also, why weren’t we told that we had a great view of your roof mechanical equipment? There were many rooms with this view.

Beautiful setting, lobby. Great staff! Gym was clean and well equipped. Great free breakfast. On-site tavern is super cool. Beds very comfortable.

Nice hotel, great location but every day they have multiple parties and it's noisy.

Though the hotel was very nice in appearance and service, it hosted several extremely loud events on the Saturday and Sunday nights during my visit. I literally could not carry on a conversation in my room, and all of the hotel's public areas were equally loud. It's a fine place to stay if you are attending one of the events, since you won't be bothered by the noise and disruption -- but find somewhere else to stay if you're not!

My wife and I attended this wedding this past Saturday and had a great time. The venue, food, and ambiance were great. The banquet staff were attentive, professional and friendly.

Too may events and the newer event venue is not properly soundproofed so expect loud music all night long. The events are starting to take a toll on the physical plant of the hotel and the common areas are starting to wear down. On the flip side, the staff is great, the place is always clean and it is a great location.

Was a wedding guest, that stayed the night. The facility was very nice, but the service was not. First off, the bed was unbelievably hard. It was like sleeping on a sandstone ledge (which I have done 1). I did not get a restful sleep. Also the cold water faucet was installed backwards in our bathroom. I was annoying to use the sink. 2] the hotel would give out pantry vouchers ($20), but the. Not honor them. The claim was they were only good for the check-in date. [said that nowhere on the voucher. The front desk seemed to make that up as an excuse. 3]The desk staff seemed keep making up reasons that they could not provide other ‘usual services too. 4] There was a $45 fee for a ‘late check out’ [on a Monday!] if you stayed past 11AM! In summary: the building was beautiful, the catering was excellent, however there was much service inertia and negativity from the hotel staff. This hospitality was not eve up th Marriott standards. I can not recommend this hotel if you are looking for a pleasant weekend stay.

Overall excellent hotel with beautiful decor

We had our daughter’s wedding at the Madison Hotel on May 23,2025. It was incredible. The food was delicious, the staff was attentive and the Grand Ballroom was beautiful. Our guests are raving about it. It was everything that we could have hoped for. We are so grateful to the Madison Hotel staff for making our daughter’s wedding day absolutely perfect! Thank you!!
