Madison Hotel

Everything was terrific and I thought the free breakfast buffet was substantial and well presented. Plasticware is very cheap and bendy, however, and i would have preferred real stainless steel.

Very nice hotel, comfortable rooms, nice breakfast.

We travel annually to North Jersey and always stay at the Madison Hotel. It is clean, convenient and comfortable and has an excellent restaurant attached.

My 20 yr old daughter is taking a class at Fairleigh Dickinson University this summer. Two nights ago, several towns here in NJ saw one of the worst storms in history with flash flooding. My daughter was stranded at the school and could not drive the 40 mins home as the flooding had taken over the areas, but she could drive the 3 mins to the Madison Hotel. I called them and asked if they had a room for her. They said they did. I said fabulous! I started to give my info and said they'd need hers and her ID presented when she comes in. Totally reasonable. I let them know that she is 20 yrs old and asked if they have a policy of 21 yrs to have a room. They said they did have that policy and will hold to it so she cannot check in alone. I said, even in a natural disaster like this? Where people are stranded?! They said, yes, we can't help you. Can you imagine?! A 20 yr old cannot get shelter for the night in a storm, but they can vote for the highest position in the country and also be asked to defend that country. Never will be recommending this hotel to my colleagues coming in for business. That's for sure.

We had a wonderful experience at the Madison Hotel. A fabulous weekend attending a wedding. Beautiful setting, friendly associates, the breakfast buffet - was like a full buffet and the treat of receiving a $20 gift card for each day, was thoughtful and could be used in either restaurant or in the gift shop.

This hotel needs room service for the restaurant. The on line ordering is not nearly what is on the menu. The television is not user friendly. This hotel needs laundry service.

BEAUTIFUL wedding setting , Well organized with seamless transition between ceremony, cocktail hour, reception. Cocktail hour was so awesome we thought it was the main meal ! Great staff - especially the bar tenders. Good photo opt settings. Glad we stayed for the night. Room was comfortable & convenient.

Hotel room and public areas were very clean and comfortable. Amazing breakfast included in a very nicely furnished area near the lobby.

We were here for a wedding. The 7 foot ceilings throughout are a little weird, but overall the decor is classy and beautiful. I was not a fan of the food that was served. The chicken was dry and served with a beef gravy. I feel that was an attempt to cover up overcooked chicken - the “chateaubriand” was really a thick cut roast with the same gravy. Hotel room is beautiful with an 8’ ceiling. Service at the wedding was well done and classy, but the wedding ceremony had issues with sound.
