The staff was friendly. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable

The hotel has designated areas for travelers who bring pets. This is a great accommodation. However, as I was walking to locate my room, there was a smell that I could not pinpoint right away.And then I realized it was animal feces and urine I was smelling. There was A couple dogs in the room next to me and I noticed that they were being taken out by their owner at the door close by. Well, this is a great accommodation that wing of the hotel smelled absolutely disgusting.The carpet severely needs cleaned. And this should be a regular task for staff. The room was clean but there was a stench in the air in my room due to the location to pet rooms and the location being close to the doors for pets to use the bathroom. In my room, the little coffee table in was broken, and the small love seat couch looked like it had seen better days. It had stains on the coushin and did not look like it would be comfortable to use, had it not been stained. I didn't use either one of them. I tried to use the TV, but the remote control did not work for the tv. The phone was also not plugged in, so I had no phone access.

Location was central.

Dirty, people hanging out in the halls, smell of marijuana was prevalent.
