West Des Moines Marriott

I had such a sweet and welcoming experience because of the night advisor Sharon S!! Sharon went out of her way and made every effort to ensure I had everything I needed. From giving me a room close to the lobby so I could handle all of my luggage easier to physically running to the bar to make sure I could get a drink before it closed. I arrived solo, close to midnight on a Saturday night and I felt like I instantly had a friend. She made a huge difference. I’d stay there when I travel just because of this experience. Thank you Sharon!! You’re definitely rare. :)

The room was clean and its nice to have a food and drink onsite so we didn't have to drive anywhere. The bar staff were very nice. The food was great! I like that I was able to get a good coffee in the morning.

Excellent hotel. I travel here for business and with family. Wish all Marriot's treated guest like this. Food is good in the restaurant; M club is good. Decent workout area that is clean. Rooms are clean and nice. Zach at front desk is always amazing.

Great hotel. Zach at the front desk was kind and super friendly. He upgraded us to a suite for the night. We are Titanium, but this was an exceptional front desk experience. Room was very nice and the breakfast was very good!! If we are near the area again, we will choose this place to stay.

The room was really clean and the service was amazing! I was able to get a good workout in while I was here and if I needed to do laundry they have a washer and dryer in the building for use. I think what really made it for me though was the barista Kammie! She was so amazing and remembered my order. I couldn’t have made it through all of my meetings without her!!

Excellent stay! The room was beautiful and well appointed. Rooms have been completely updated and/or remodeled. I always look for these older properties because they are so much quieter than the newer, inexpensively built hotels. Christine at the front desk was exceptionally friendly and accommodating! One of the nicest and most hospitable greetings upon check in for any of the 100+ nights I stayed in a hotel this year. She was awesome! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ In the interest of full transparency, I did not like the dinner from the restaurant. It was not good, not flavorful, overpriced and a huge disappointment. Skip the restaurant but definitely don’t skip the stay!
