Studio Allston Hotel Boston

I arrived and Jonathan on the desk could not have been more helpful. Everyone from the bar staff to the cleaners were lovely. The hotel and rooms were very clean and well kept. Beautiful area being just accross from the river. Thank you so much for helping with my first ever World Cup experience and first visit to America.

Far away from the Downtown

The hotel’s design was colorful, vibrant, and contemporary. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and it overlooked the river. We even happened upon a marathon race by the water and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel also had a strong artistic aspect; we really liked the paintings on display and the fact that there were workshops as well.

The breakfast consisted mainly of sweets and fruit. There was a wide variety, but no vegetables. For us, vegetables like tomatoes, cucumbers, and lettuce are very important, so we bought these from the market and added them to our breakfast. I would recommend adding more cheese varieties. While there was plenty of variety, Turkish tastes are different, and we don't usually eat many sweets for breakfast.

I stayed at this hotel out of necessity and it was a pleasant surprise capped off by the excellent service rendered by everyone. Basically, the air conditioning in our apartment in the area went out during a heatwave. Temperatures outside were 90 deg F + and inside our apartment was reaching as high as 87 deg F. This was bad enough for me as a human being but even worse for our dog. After speaking with my wife who was out of town at the time, we opted to check into the hotel. On arrival, one of the hotel managers, Jonathan, was informative, courteous, and efficient. He let me know about the amenities, charges, restaurants, etc all while expressing empathy for the challenges that we were facing. When I had questions later, Joani, one of the other front desk staff, was just as knowledgeable, courteous, etc. The rooms were clean and well-appointed. Everything worked as it should (e.g TV, etc). And given that the AC worked great, our dog really perked up as soon as he was in the cooler environment. Overall, the hotel was DEFINITELY worth the price of the rooms (again, in a good way), the staff was fantastic, and we had a great stay even though it was just one night. Again, my thanks to Jonathan, Joani, and the rest of the staff for an awesome stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

It seems like a bad upgraded motel. Dogs barking late for a long time and had to call to ask for front desk to address it since no one seemed to be in the room with them. Very poor sound insulation between rooms and hallways.
