Radisson Blu Royal Hotel Helsinki

Very nice and spacious room, comfortable bed and the linen was not as stiff as in many hotels. Very good location.

Radisson Blu is always a good choice, if you get it with reasonable price. This hotel is already quite old but still in nice shape. Room is very comfortable and breakfast is great. Location is good and quite central.

The location is excellent! There is a tram stop and a bus station less than a block away. There is also a large mall, a cinema, plenty of restaurants, grocery shopping, and other fun things to see and do within minutes of the property. The breakfast was good with a wide variety of foods and the staff was pleasant and helpful. My concerns were with the housekeeping. The bed and the bathroom were clean, so that was good. However, the carpet in the room was never vacuumed during the week-long stay and the hallway carpet really needed a good shampooing. Dirty cups and glasses sat in the room for days until they were removed/replaced. Toiletries were not always replaced in a timely fashion. The desk chair upholstery was so dirty or worn that I wondered if I should sit on it.

Wonderful service, especially at the front desk. Great waffle option at breakfast. Never had this before. The hotel is located at a prime location in the Kampii.

The hotel is in a prime location and convenient to everything. In fact it is walkable from the train station if you don’t have luggage. The breakfast is fabulous. Be sure to walk around to the open window of the kitchen where they have made to order omeletts and Cyrillian pancakes. Initially angry that they assigned us a dirty room that had not been cleaned but free drinks made up for it

Filthy hotel below the standard of the chain. We stayed 4 nights they didn't swipe the floor once. Had to go to reception several times about dirty cups / cupboards /bathroom. Even the sheets weren't changed each day but just made. But pricing of course is level with other EU capitals. Should have chosen something else.

We booked three rooms and stayed for three days. We are pretty satisfied with everything. Location is very good to go every where. Breakfast is nice with a lot of items. The room is clean and comfortable. Staffs are very nice, I appreciated the gentleman’s help in locating my luggage.

Great hotel,although in need of a tidy up. Some mold in the bathrooms and the shower curtains gave the whole bathroom a musty smell. Would be great to be able to open windows and get fresh air too. Twin beds are only separated by 30cm. Queen bedroom is much,much smaller. Esp the bathroom. Breakfast was superb and even upon leaving very early,they put out some food for us which was very thoughtful. Best hotel out of 5 in the Nordic countries we visited. Located very central with Kampi station right across the road. Walking distance to everything.
