La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham South Holland

They had a 6 pillow policy per room and wouldn’t allow extras. The pool was closed for repairs and every ice machine was removed from the building. There was a rotten apple under the bed. They only allowed 3 towels in a room with up to 4 occupants. There was no hand soap available. Staff was not very friendly.

Only thing I don’t like about the staff is that they watch you like a hawk and it’s annoying

TV did not work. The elevator was dirty and it was not cleaned during my stay. Sticky floors and trash.

The pool is still not open. The only ice machine is on the 3rd floor. Its a kinda sketchy appearance but it wasn't terribly bad. The rooms really needs to be updated. Wasn't able to use the microwave due to rust inside the door. The only coffee available in the room was decaf. Was expecting a little better for the price I paid. They did offer a nice breakfast with choices.

The room was clean and pretty. The pool was closed for renovation🙄 They did have a big breakfast but unfortunately non of the food was good, that day atleast and so I didn’t even bother trying it the next day because it was the same thing. And housekeeping never came at all to take our trash, give us more towels or anything. So that was disappointing for $150 a night.

At no point were we told that the pool was under maintenance before our arrival. I have 3 kids and specifically booked this hotel for the pool when I could have went cheaper somewhere else. Our whole family was excited, bought new swimsuits and everything only to be told at check in that we could not use the pool. I expressed how upset I was and how all my kids were so looking forward to the pool and asked for a discount. I was told no. I then asked for the manager information and was not given that information. Then that same evening I called the front desk asking about a late check out and I was told we could check out at noon instead of 11am. Then the day of check out at 11:10am I had a knock on my door from the front desk telling me check out was at 11 and I informed her I was told I could check out at noon and she rudely said well you need to be out before 12pm. I also read in other reviews how great the breakfast was and I was looking forward to it, it was not great at all.

First of all the hotel did not include the fact that they don’t clean rooms till ur checkout day ! Bad for me !Im confused on how can u allow anyone to stay somewhere for 3 days without cleaning the room!2nd Not enough towels if the room has 2 bed gueen size it require 4 peoples only got 2towel face and dry !! The people was very rude at the desk ! Filling u around ! Very uncomfortable!!

I do not have anything good to say about this property. 1st I had 4 people staying in my room. Myself, my spouse, and our 2 children. Our youngest child is 1 and was sleeping in a pack and play. There were no extra linens in the room. We went to the front desk and asked for an extra blanket and pillow for the pack and play. We were told no. Even after explaining the situation the front desk attendant told us they only exchange linens and would not give addl linens. We were also only given 3 towels and wash towels and could not get an additional fit the 4th person. The hotel accepts pets and our room has either fecal matter or vomit stains on the carpet. There are a lot of comments about how great the breakfast was. Their breakfast was the standard hotel breakfast, nothing special. They also only offer breakfast from 6-9 and you are not allowed to bring it to your room, you have to eat in the lobby. The bathroom doesn’t have a light in it. There is a light on the mirror, however, the light is very dim. It was like showering in the dark. Getting ready, like doing your hair and makeup was also difficult due to the lack of light in the room.
