Felt like a king

Location. Access. Rooms. Beds. Pool. Gym. Valet.

Restaurant food and drink on Xmas day disappointing and rather expensive. Bonus features like free hot chocolate unavailable with no cups. Public toilets dirty and no toilet paper. Breakfast choices a little lacking in Osco. It would have been nice to be informed of the option to pay for Club international lounge access which included breakfast, light dinner refreshments and beverages. Staff sometimes unfriendly.

Das Hotel liegt für uns gut zentral, mit direktem Zugang zur "Underground City" und zum "Alten Hafen". Das Frühstücksbüffet ist reichhaltig, mit Säften, frischem Obst, verschiedenem Brot und einer bedienten Omelette Station. Die Zimmer und auch die Badezimmer sind sehr geräumig. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle zuvorkommen und hilfsbereit.

Man merkt dem Hotel sein Alter an. Die Einrichtung im Zimmer ist sehr dunkel und es fehlt an guter Beleuchtung.

Great location near old Montreal, within 5-10 minute walk to most restaurants, shops and points of interest. Room was spacious and clean, as expected. The lobby has a fragrant smell and a beautiful decor. Feels luxurious.

. Breakfast choices, preparation and prices could have been better. The buffet was very pricey.

This was a lovely experience. The room was clean, well-cared for and large enough to accomodate all our stuff! The location allowed access to Reso or was close enough for walking to most of the areas we visited. The restaurant was good, and the breakfast was exactly what you'd want, whether you eat a big breakfast or just a little one. The staff was attentive and helpful. One complaint: our room was sooo dark, it kind of drove us crazy because our winter visit corresponded with the darkest time of the year. Hard to read, despite the (harsh) lights over the bed. The lighting and the access to electric plugs needs a major upgrade. If we wanted to read for awhile, we needed to go to common areas.

We loved our stay - the room was wonderful, quiet and comfortable. The staff were all extremely kind, helpful, friendly and cheerful! We loved the hot chocolate in the lobby. The location was great, in walking distance to al the main sights in the old city.

No complaints! We heard that the water in the pool was a bit chilly, and that there was no hot tub - in the cold Montreal winter, we would have loved to warm up!

Great stay and location, with proximity to the old part of the city and central business district. The hotel can use an upgrade and will be temporarily closing. Til then, this is a fine hotel with great service provided by their staff and overall visual appeal that can lead you to easily overlook some blemishes. Look forward to staying again.
