The bar service is mediocre and very expensive for some mediocre wines.

Probably the best hotel we have ever stayed in! That’s quite a statement it has to be said……5 star accommodation , service, food and location… stunning views too.. plenty of underground parking.

Excellent: all staff, impressive breakfast, soundproofing in the room, almost everything in the room, nice gym, good views. Will go for a lower-floor view next time for street views of Old Montreal instead of looking at tall rooftops from above though. They are apparently under renovation, so the negatives may improve soon.

Terrible: WiFi (as bad as 5 Mbps download on SpeedTest; my phone as a hotspot was 50 Mbps). Room lighting & insufficient furniture. In a double-bed room, they placed the business desk *between* the beds, which is obviously a cheap move to save $$ on furniture, but that means the workspace is both cluttered and unusable if one person's sleeping. Very dumb design. Nowhere to put a second suitcase due to only one suitcase stand. Fridge is *not* a fridge, but a slight cooler for wine - it's piss-weak, so you'll have to ask a superstar from the Maintenance Team to deliver an *actual* minifridge. They bring it on a dolly, if available. Again, very stupid choice by senior management.

Beautiful comfortable room. Great location and fun "extras" ie. hot chocolate bar in lobby and "photo postcard shoot" :-)
