Hampton Inn Chicago-Gurnee

Terrible beds were disgusting did not sleep there I left.

The location was great. Not too far from the Navy Base. The beds were comfortable. Our air conditioning wasn't working, so they moved us to another room.

Rooms are newly renovated! Beds are comfortable and rooms are clean! Close to Great America and Gurnee Outlet Mall. It will be really nice when the entire hotel is finished including the lobby.

Food good,comfortable

The staff was very helpful. The breakfast buffet was just OK. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable.

The clerk with the blonde hair, Caucasian really went above and beyond. I just can not remember her name.

The water was cold when taking a shower. I was scared my family and I would get sick.

Close to Great America where I was attending.

The front desk clerk were very rude, she made multiple racial comments; she even insinuated I was broke and told me the machine didn’t like my debit card; yes; she told me ‘ the machine doesn’t like certain debit cards’ she then proceeds to tell me my card declined in front of everyone; although, my card had more than enough money, not to mention; they had already took out my account, this was only the refundable $50 deposit. She also told asked me what type of card I had, I tell her “ I have a Mastercard “ she says ‘ is that a debit card’ I said “yes” she says ‘oh, the machine like credit cards better’ to my dismay. This woman was using micro aggression, passive aggression, and racial discrimination. I have never felt so belittled and attacked for no reason whatsoever, I was applauded. I will not be returning, I can do better.

Convenient

Overall this place is decent for the price but…. They have remodeling construction and did not give any notice. The pool was also not in service. My room was not the cleanest and the beds were not comfortable. Location was great and the breakfast was ok.

I really appreciated how comfortable the bed was.
