Red Roof Inn Louisville Fair and Expo

I have stayed here every year, for almost twenty years; to attend the annual “Show Of Shows”. I believe it may be under new management, or ownership; because a lot of the original staff is no longer there. And although the rooms are clean; they no longer give bottles of water and packages of Kleenex to the guests. This is the first time that I’ve been here when there was such heavy snow, and they did have a snow plow clear the parking lot, which was good. The staff was also polite and cordial, and was patient with me when I needed a late checkout, because I was feeling sick. However, what really bothers me is that they charged me an extra $120 ($15 per day, for the additional two rabbits, for four days) for having three pet service animal (documentation from the VÅ was provided to the front desk) rabbits; whereas I had never been charged for the additional two rabbits in all preceding years. Next year I might look for another location that does not do that. ( ( ( -.-) o_(“)(“)

The lady at the service desk was nice.

-A/C kept shutting off -door lock continuously malfunctions -only 1 chair -no flat surfaces other than the floor for your belongings - no flat surface in the bathroom to use while getting ready -room was not cleaned well (there were even belongings from the last customers in the room) -2 of 4 pillows were literally paper thin

There was confusion about a deposit after paying with book.com but I received it back. There ease of bringing my service animal was great. She felt very comfortable. I will most definitely use them again.

Good location

No refrigerator or microwave. Most hotel rooms have these amenities

It was clean and well maintained

A little hidden, and had to be careful not to pass the small street that didn’t look like an actual road. Not the property fault though.
