Ramada Limited Norfolk

The good thing about the hotel is it was relatively close to the VA Beach Boardwalk and gas stations, major stores, and food. It was super disappointing, because, I get COVID, but only one person could be in the lobby at one time. You spoke to the hotel representative through a glass, and it was difficult to hear, they weren’t very friendly at all (I’ve had worse, but you can tell when someone is just doing something so they get paid not because they like it). The room was dirty. I paid for a non-smoking room, and I walked in and the blast of cigarette smoke hit you square in the face as soon as the door was cracked. The bath tub would not hold water in it, it had dirt, and pubic hairs in the tub still, and the tub had a slight dirt ring around it. For a quick stop, it was fine, but anything longer than a day or two, I wouldn’t do.

I booked online and once I got there I realized nothing was as advertised. No breakfast. No access to any pool, the lobby was even closed down .. not at all as advertised. I was coming down with kids and those were the most important items for them. I did however speak to management and they did cancel the stay and gave me a receipt for cancellation. As it was so far from what I wanted, but I did end up getting a equally poor hotel room. I presume it was because I was in a rush even more more expensive, as it was last minute but that hotel room was run down and had riffraff in every corner.

The ppl in the hotel were very sketchy got woke up by a guy looking for a prostitute

The property and room was not to standard. We noticed cobwebs, torn linen, and broken furniture.

Scared to touch the bed. No smoking room was a joke. Walked in and immediately looked for another hotel. Didn’t even use the bathroom or change after being at the beach. The neighbor across the way brining his cactuses out for sun seemed sweet. Think we were the only people there that didn’t live there. Pictures were all false. Don’t recommend.

This place is very dirty and needs a lot of maintenance . Bathroom ceiling was leaking and looked moldy. Room had a musty smell and strong cigarette smell. The area looks dangerous and it seems as if they use the motel for those who need shelter and housing purposes. I stayed with 3 kids and couldn’t bare walking in the carpet without shoes. Overall poor quality and bad experience.

I found bedbugs in my room and my bed and they were bitting me all over my body last night and I definitely would liked my refund of 175.73 cent back on my card ASAP

This place is awful - only do it if you ha e to. I’d say you get what you pay for but at $200/night it was not cheap - unlike this place. Reminded me of one of those crack by the hour hotels you see in the movies or the show breaking bad. Non-smoking room smelled like someone lived there for a year smoking a pack a day inside the hotel. Service sucked. When I went to check in, the guy working the counter looked at me and scowled and then proceeded to ignore me until finally I had to knock on the window to get his attention. When I went back in morning no one was there. Awful awful awful
