Didn’t come with a TV

i liked the low price. i did not like having to pay a $100 security deposit which i was not informed of when i made the reservation. persons at check-in and at check-out did not speak english except for a few words. when i opened the door it had a terrible smell; as though it was a smoking room that had been recently painted over. it took the ac about 3 hours to remove the smell. i will never stay at this location again and question whether i will stay at red roof again after years of being satisfied.

This hotel would be okay for a quick overnight trip. I came all the way from Philly and I asked for a early check in I was told over the phone yes and then when I arrived I was told I had to come back in 4 hours when housekeeping arrived. I had to sleep in my car after and 7 hour drive. Other than that the hotel could be a little more updated. Toilet kept getting clogged.

First thing to know, this hotel requires a non-negotiable $100 deposit that is actually charged to your credit card when you check in. They won't use your card from your online reservation or just hold your card information without placing an actual charge. Second, in my room, the AC unit made noise when turned up to max but I couldn't feel any air movement. Third, the toilet flushed but nothing ever went down. Lastly, when I arrived to check in I had to wait ten minutes before anybody showed up to run the desk. Nobody was actually in the lobby, the employee came from outside. So, you can be assured that 24 hours surveillance the multiple signs mention is probably top notch.

Check in person was not very friendly and a little rude. Property not bad and surrounded by shops and restaurants

Redroof in has been very accommodating! The staff is very friendly and very respectful! Will definitely be booking over and over.

Wouldnt ever go there. smelly, appliances broken, moldy

TV only received 2 channels. Advised management multiple times and was told it would be looked at and fixed. They never sent anyone and was never fixed

Real dump filthy most things listed on your site dont exist at this place also your pictures are about ten years old place should be condemned and torn down first room we were giving smoke detector on a shelf no even connected no molding on inside of door no security lock second room band aids on curtains peep hole plugged with toilet paper no hot water in sink as for non smoking only way to get smoke smell out is to tear it down also you need to update your pics and go see for yourself no trained staff key had to be renewed every time you left the room.

This place was ideally situated for watching the eclipse on 4/8-- so three family couples (Pittsburgh, Pensacola, Boston) drove to Akron. We made a reservation more than a month ahead. When we arrived, there was no record of our reservation-- the clerk asked if we'd reserved through Priceline. We had not-- we'd reserved three rooms directly thru the hotel, and had confirmation numbers for all three. The clerk eventually said they had two rooms for us-- and he found a third. We paid $20 for an early checkin to the only room that was ready, and put our bags inside the door; we didn't look around the room. We assumed it was modest but OK. After the eclipse, we went to check in to all the rooms-- and found that one of them had a bed that had clearly been used: stained linens with hairs on them-- NOT OK! We decided that we could not stay there; when we went to tell the clerk that, another customer was also cancelling his reservation because of the condition of the room. There was almost nobody else at the hotel-- for good reason. The clerk said he'd contact his manager and we'd not be charged. BUT WE HAVE BEEN CHARGED-- FOR ALL THREE ROOMS! This has just happened, and we've not yet talked with Red Roof management-- but we're posting this review to warn you: STAY AWAY FROM THIS AWFUL PLACE!
