Red Roof Inn Indianapolis North - College Park

There were cockroaches and rats. The heater/air conditioner was falling off the wall. It smelled musty/moldy. The shower didn't drain. It definitely wasn't what was represented when I booked the room!

Restroom was roach infested. Water tank of toilet was filling up too slow caused slow flushing. Faucet of hanj sink was not operating correctly. Hd choice of scolding hot to hot. Water pressure of bathtub was very low. They left one half roll of toilet paper in the room when I checked in.

Nothing there was bug spiderwebs. Dirty covers 30 sheets. The bathroom was dirty. The toilet was dirty. It was terrible.

SCAM ALERT! THIS PLACE WILL KEEP YOUR DEPOSIT! Many items in the room did not work. Door electronic lock did not display light when engaged. Air conditioner barely blew out air on a 90 degree day which made the room uncomfortable. Had to be in own fan because the filters had not been replaced. It only Heat or Cool control not fan control No rod on curtain to pull open/close. Fluorescent lights over the sink did not work. One was missing completely. They had to get bulbs from another room and still didn’t work. Brought an additional table lamp to compensate. Maintenance person told us they were not allowed to stock extra parts. Smoke detector was dangling on wall because battery had not been replaced. This is a huge safety violation. One of the lights over the bed didn’t work. TV did not work and they could not get it working. Bed spread had stains. Ironing board did not have a cover. Stool did not flush completely even after multiple flushes. No extra roll of toilet paper and roll was almost out. Worked for two hours to get items these items to work. Offered to move us to another room but couldn’t because it was nonfunctional as well. Received multiple email “changes” to our reservations adding “additional room charges”. Told us that were would not be refunded for at least a week not upon check out. We were warned by another person that they check the room meticulously and attempt to keep the deposit if the room is dirty not damaged. The entire property was run down and needs to be condemned.

I never stayed in the room the app allowed me to make several reservations for the same day without proper instructions of deposits or how to cancel and I chose another location

Very old property. I had the confirmed booking but they said no room was available. They offered a smaller room with 1 bed while we booked 2 queen beds for 4 people but the room’s condition was really bad smelly and dirty.

Dirty, old, smell like dogs, indian staff doesn’t understand anything. Requested towels and they said “we don’t have any”. I stayed here before but now I regret my decision. Cheap and crappy. Never again. You don’t even get what you paid for

Old outdated rooms, smell like dogs because they are “pet friendly” musky rooms. They don’t clean if you don’t expressly ask so we got no fresh towels. Next day they said “we have no towels”. Indian staff with limited knowledge of the language or the culture. Red Roof used to be ok. People say “you get what you pay for” in this case you don’t even get that. Rooms have no phones. I had to kill a cockroach. Never again with this chain.
