Knights Inn Mackinaw City

Excellent location reasonably priced for the Bridge Walk. Rooms do not have hairdryers nor does the front desk. Breakfast /coffee not refilled.

The location of the hotel was good. The room we got was dirty. Black stains on carpet and was never vacuumed. Dirty towels on the bathroom floor. Ceiling tiles pulled up with water spots, like the carpenters didn't complete the job.Asked for clean towels, the cleaning help don't clean until we leave. They never cleaned when the previous people left. Had to go get clean towels when we saw the cleaning people outside. No soap. No kleenex. The only good thing was the mattress was nice but the room smelled old and musty. I guess you get what you pay for.

Rang bell twice before being greeted. Saw employees in the back.

Sink was clogged. Toilet handle went in circles. More rust than chrome on the toilet paper holder. Shower stained and moldy. Entire bathroom smaller than those found on cruise ships. HVAC unit was ineffective. I did not expect elegance from a budget motel, but this did not meet minimum expectations. I would not recommend.

The rooms need to be updated. But are clean, the rooms are small and the bathroom door wouldn't close. Great location

Knights Inn is a basic motel. The location is great for Mackinac City or to take the ferry to the island. Rooms are simple and clean. The breakfast was coffee and toast - not worth calling a breakfast but it was something. Staff is nice and parking is convenient.
