Breakers Resort & Beach Bar

We stayed for 2 nights on our way down to a wedding in lower Michigan and one night on our way back. The staff was pleasant and informative. Having a 24 hour concierge was very nice and comforting. Miss Beverly was wonderful. The discount ferry tickets and free shuttle, along with the 24 adult hot tub and pool was a HUGE plus for us. The hot tub was hot and the jets were powerful, the pool a refreshing temperature. The rooms were bright and clean, great views from every where. Having an on site restaurant and bar was wonderful. Complimentary breakfast was very good. The campfires on the beach each night was a lovely way to unwind at the end of the day. We specifically changed our homebound schedule to stay there again, unfortunately, that day the hot tub jets were not working. We were very disappointed as that was why we were back. Tried to address it with the GM, he was unavailable. We were told he had our contact information, but we never heard back.

Shuttle to casino was nice, bonfire on beach was fun, complimentary breakfast was excellent, shuttle to ferry was nice.

We did not realize we had to check in at a separate location, but the staff was SUPER friendly! The dining room was a nice surprise and the waitress was wonderful. Our room had a great view of the lake, but the room itself has seen better days. It had multiple broken tiles in the room and bathroom, the toilet was not secure, and the draw was broken

Our check-in was great, as was our room overlooking the beach. Enjoyed sitting quietly on the beach chairs. Appreciated being able to arrange for a shuttle to the ferry and being able to purchase ferry tickets at the hotel. Thanks.

Bed was comfortable, breakfast was very good (especially the ham omlets), hotel shuttle to the ferry was wonderful.
