Breakers Resort & Beach Bar

We loved our stay here, beautiful beach, fires for a great evening vibe and great food and drink options at the bar. Transportation to the ferries and dining options within walking distance

St. Ignace is the sweetest town and Breakers Resort is the perfect place to stay. This was our first trip to the area and we will definitely be back!

Nice location right on Lake Huron and only five minutes from the ferry to Mackinac Island. Building and rooms were a touch outdated but very comfortable and clean. There is a nice bar/restaurant steps from the hotel which is a nice touch. There is a 24/7 pool/hot tub that can be used by adults and a fitness center (I did not use but seemed to be good options). Ample parking and great location. Would stay again!

Staff and especially staff at the restaurant were phenomenal! What we didn't like was the stairs and having to haul our luggage up and down, not being able to use the carts. Is this an OSHA violation?

Amazing experience! Our room was big and clean. We booked a king bed with jetted tub and beautiful balcony. The tub was huge and could have fit 4 people. The club had amazing food! You have to get the mashed potatos! Soooo good. All our drinks were delicious. Chris the bartender was amazing! The beach was beautiful and we enjoyed fire each night!

Beautiful shoreline with chairs, fire pit s, pizza bar.

The restaurant and both hotel and restaurant staff were inviting and had great service. The bed was comfortable, however there was a bed protector under the mattress sheet. The mattress protector made me feel as if i was sleeping on a plastic tarp and was hot. My husband also thought it was uncomfortable. It tended to shift and had large wrinkles under you as the night progressed. Otherwise I everything else was great!

The resort is right on the shore of Lake Huron. Our room had all the amenities one could want including a jacuzzi. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent and the included breakfast was very full. We could only stay one night but I wouldn't have minded staying several nights.
