"Room was still dirty upon check in"

Upon check in our room was not clean. The beds were made but there was still travel shampoos in the shower, towels on the floor and food in the fridge. When we told the front desk, they said the hotel was fully booked for the night. We stood there waiting for a bit to see what they would do. With nothing happening, I asked to cancel the reservation with no penalty. They did agree, which was nice, and we ended up being able to get a room at the hotel next door. Unfortunate circumstances because now I would never recommend someone stay here.

Food at the club was pricy but worth it but bigger portions wouldn't have hurt. Room was clean, had a microwave, fridge and Keurig. Was a very nice stay.

Beautiful location, nice restaurant and free breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff. Our room 324 had a bad faucet that should be replaced and a short shower curtain that left a wet floor.

"Family trip "

Everyone was really friendly when they greeted us in the front desk the lady there was extremely polite and friendly 9/3/2025. The coffee was really good and fresh great place

Really easy accessto Mackinac Island ferry with shuttle. Very lovely location on Lake Huron. We enjoyed it very much.

"Comfortable beds, great concierge, nice beach and the best views!"

Our recent family stay at the Breakers was amazing and Bev from the concierge desk went above and beyond when my husband was having medical issues. She showed the utmost care and compassion for a guest she did not even know and her knowledge of Mackinac Island is second to none. She single-handedly played a role in my daughter and being able to finish out our trip while knowing that my husband was safe at the hotel when he was too ill to travel with us. Bev’s kindness will not soon be forgotten and she was an absolute blessing for our family. HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING AT THIS HOTEL!!
