Econo Lodge Cedar Rapids South

Traveling across country with two dogs and chose this property because it was pet friendly. The fees of $20 per pet plus a $50 deposit that was refunded if no damage occurred was not disclosed up front. The room was in large with laminate floors which were nice but the rest of the room was down in need of a remodel. Also could have been cleaned more thoroughly.

Noisy little place and not even busy. Can't imagine when it's booked up. Were woken several times by staff and guests. And did not appreciate the un-requested wake up call. But for the price, its fine. Nothing special.

I had items stolen from my room

The staff were very friendly and the rooms were nice and it meet all my needs.

they are working on improving the property. bed was comfortable but the springs squeaked

I really liked my the room i had it was specious neat and clean. I didnt expect that out of judgeing it from the outside to be honest. I didnt like the Issue we had and lost one of my nights there but it all got worked out in the end. So over all i did enjoy my stay there

Our TV didn't work - due to "no signal." If this happens on a Saturday evening and the people working at the hotel can't fix it, it is apparently just too bad. Also, expected a blow dryer to be included in the room. Mistake. Otherwise, this place was ok enough for what we needed.

So we had a non smoking room. The stairwell and hall ways smelled like a bar full of smoke. It was so bad that it my throat was burning just walking to our room. Would not recommend to anyone unless smoke doesn’t bother you.

Room ok. Bathroom needed repair. No food for breakfast.
