Belle Aire Motel

The room had a nice vintage vibe but being a jacuzzi room seemed very damp.

This place was exactly what we wanted - a cheap room to sleep in and nothing more. It satisfied that requirement, and that was it. As long as you approach it with reasonable expectations, you won't be disappointed. The place is seriously outdated, poorly maintained, and not particularly attractive. Given that it was about 1/3 the cost of any other room in Gatlinburg, that was OK with us. The place is unstaffed after about 5 in the afternoon, or in our case, 3 in the afternoon. That said, the hotel staff communicated well and the check-in was effortless. We were also given a contact number at another property if we had any problems. The room was clean (except for the empty pretzel bag behind one of the nightstands) and everything worked. Microwave and refrigerator are provided. The bed was comfortable enough, and there were no insects or other vermin to be seen. The carpet looks like is came out of the early 1960s, and may or may not have been clean, but either way, it should have been replaced a decade or two ago. My poor wife, who isn't nearly as tolerant of hotel conditions as I am, was a little creeped out by the place, but it was OK, as I said, for what we needed. On the plus side, it's probably about a five minute walk from Gatlinburg's main drag. Keep your expectations in line and you'll be satisfied. Expect a Hilton and you won't.

It was clean on the inside for the most

This stay was booked through Hotels.com. When we arrived, there was no attendant. A note on the door told us to calla phone number to check in. When i called, the lady asked for a credit card for incidentals. After i gave the information, I was told there would be extra fees charged to that card. The booking sight states that all charges are included and upfront. The attendant told me that was not a true statement. We have stayed at this location multiple times and have never been charged additional fees. In my opinion, people should be made aware of the fees upon booking. Also, this should be divulged prior to asking for credit card information. So, future trips to Gatlinburg will not include Belle Aire.

Wasn’t that bad just very tight parking lot, an hardly had toilet paper in the room no shampoo or body wash it’s an affordable place just to sleep no staff after 5 it’s only 9 to 5 then nothing no breakfast

Great hidden gem in Gatlinburg. Very quiet area within walking distance of downtown.

They are currently working on the property to make it better! Hope to see it done one day!

We ended up booking another room in the inn by Marriott near by for $ 50 more so worth it this place looked so bad honestly toilet was disgusting just not as comfortable as the Marriott Fairfield
