Hyatt Place New Orleans Convention Center

The location was really convenient to get to the sights and the room was clean. The staff were SO friendly and professional! Also being able to call the hotel and actually getting the front desk and not a recording and answering service was amazing! The price was good compared to other places but the trade off for the negatives wasn’t worth it.

One Elevator was broken which made for a very long wait and having to skip several full cars before being able to get to a room and forget it if you had a bag cart. Vallet stepped away from the station for so long that the front desk had to check in my car (which still sat waiting for a long time). The ice machine on more than one floor was also broken. The pull out bed in the room was terrible uncomfortable and we had the smallest lightest of us sleeping on it. A full grown male would feel like he was lying on rocks and metal bars. 50$ a night parking (after taxes) is yikes.

The staff was great and, for the most part, accommodating!

The bathroom had mold, the amenities were broken, we were asked if we could wait at 10pm for towels that weren't located in the room. And if you have back issues, this is NOT the place to stay.. Nothing like waking up to springs popping under your hip.... Super uncomfortable bed..

Good location, in downtown and can walk to Bourbon street

Staff is rude. Upon checking in the girl at the desk tried to charge me again when I had already paid through booking.com. I was confused and told her I already paid and she was rude and basically told me it’s a me problem and I need to call booking to figure it out. After traveling 7 hours with kids you would think the front desk people would be kind and willing to help. Also, there was hair in the shower, one elevator was broken while the other was malfunctioning, had to take emergency exit stairs. There is also no parking, you have to pay on the street, valet $45, and oh they charge you a $50 “incidental fee” that they don’t disclose. Terrible hotel I won’t be back here

Nice hotel

Price sis not match hotel. They sis not tell me that we had to pay for valet parking. It was only told that we had to pay when we checked out. Very disappointed in that and the price we had to pay.
