Hyatt Place New Orleans Convention Center

Unfortunately this hotel needs a major re-do. It is not up to what I think the Hyatt standards have been in the past. Elevators broken, service elevator we had to use was dirty and had trash bag in it, shower had mold along the base, the breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.

Property was clean, breakfast good and staff friendly and helpful.

Only one of elevator was working. Had to go downstairs to the bar to get ice.

Stayed from 1-6 March for a convention held just across the road at the Morial Convention Center. Locality-wise, this is excellent. Except for an old shower head which the hotel maintenance promptly changed on request, I had a great stay. Clean room with nice sitting area. Microwave, single cup coffee maker available with complimentary coffee. Standing shower with usual amenities. I love the free flow breakfast with ample supply of delicious pancakes, waffles, breads, dried and fresh fruits. Nice coffee, and decent variety of teas. Good sleep quality and breakfast makes for a fresh start every day.

Very run down hotel. It's dirty in a lot of places. The room is okay. It's not great and needs to be really cleaned and renovated. The services is not going to win any awards either. In a pinch it will work, but if you are expecting a nice hotel this is not it.

We came here for a weekend away ! The location was great we are familiar with this area. The hotel unfortunately was not. The breakfast was okay nothing great. One of the elevators was broken which was chaos during the morning trying to leave the hotel. We had to either take the service elevator or the stairs but half the doors were locked. The service here was so bad the tv only really worked only about 4/5 channels. The room itself was okay but very old and smaller a little musty. The AC was very funky. We had to put it on 79 to not freeze which is crazy !!!
