Crown Paradise Club Puerto Vallarta All Inclusive

I suppose it depends what you are looking for ... we took our kids and this was a kid geared vacation, the kids were over joyed and had the best time. Entertainment , pools, water park and food are very kid friendly and for this reason it was good. ' This is for sure NOT a 5 star resort and if you are going with RIU , Dreams Expectations you will be disappointed. Food was not good, we left the resort often to eat , the maid service was terrible. However; staff was relatively friendly for the most part , booze was poured heavy, pools were great. In Summary : Would we go back ... No.... was it a nice family vacation ... Yes, There are many other resorts within the same price range that I would consider nicer , but that is my opinion.

I thought it was a great hotel the food was suberb, anything that we needed to be addressed was address right away. The only issue was the adult only area people were bringing their kids when their was no kids allowed. we got access to the Crown Paradise Golden adult only. I didn't like it the roof top pool was gross, and. you had to line up for food. The club is so much nicer and 3 pools, very close to the marina and the mall. staff was awesome. I would recommend this to anyone.

It needs renovations. Food was always cold. Buffet was average.

Excellent for kids

Honest review I have traveled for the last 10 years and I have never had such a horrible vacation as I did to this resort. Late review but needed time to process. Jan 27-Feb 3rd My family of 7 traveled to Mexico to this resort, family side. My mom and Nanny have issues walking so I made sure we were to have main level rooms. No stairs..less walking. Put it in the notes for resort....I could see the notes, they could see the notes and yet.....didn't do it. Well that started on a bad note. As they didn't give us main level rooms and they split us all up on two different floors. It took hours and hours to get it fixed. One room was on the main level..the other we had to wait till LATE the next day..kept getting told to wait, wait, wait...well now your wasting my time, waiting. When they finally told us our new room is ready, 3-4pm. I asked if all our luggage was in the new room, as well as the cot..was told yes, everything is in your new room. To go to the new room and nothing.. everything was still in the old room. I go again to the front desk...wasting my time some more..to be told to wait...again. After an hour still nothing, another hour, still nothing. I am getting upset as you now have wasted a day of my vacation waiting around and made me miss my rep appointment...so now when I go again and I'm upset, and fed up... things gets done... I go back to our new room..and people come to ask what room and what is needed ...I tell them again, as this is not the first bell boy/man to come ask me this...but this one is great, wish I had grabbed his name, he goes to our old room, gets our luggage and cot. Brings it to our new room and the maid comes and makes up the cot...thank you very much...gift bags given. One day wasted waiting around.. unbelievable... Al la carte's...what a joke. Could not get anything because as soon as you sign in, at 9:01am exactly...it's booked...how is that possible....so went to the manager, after third day and he got us into one...our whole stay... ridiculous. I would say the food was good, as my family enjoyed theirs but my fish was burnt on one side...side down so as soon as I bit into it, you tasted it, flipped it over to check and burnt. The dessert was awesome. The buffet was gross, we had to eat three meals a day. The only meal I liked, or we all liked was pretty much breakfast....the omelette station, needs more training. Clean the bowls after each use, as people have food issues, and mixing isn't sanitary. And make more than one to two at a time. You have the space...speed up. The lines were long and time consuming. The pineapple, cantaloupe, Honey dew melon was great. Service sucked. Except for the two guys I wrote a review on... No one came to us otherwise, we had to ask for our table to be cleaned, cutlery, glasses, spoons, and much more. But the Mexicans were always served...just an observation we noticed. Information....asking for any was to get no answers...I had to keep asking and didn't get answers till last day...like what. People on the beach selling stuff. They need to be talked to about bothering people. It was to the point of harassment. If you're resting, sleeping, listening to music, asked by the same ones all day long, everyday. They didn't care...they would keep calling... miss, miss, miss till you acknowledge them...like unbelievable. I told you 20 times already in the space of hours..not interested... Like really. We know you're there, we know you're trying to make a living but when you have already asked a few times in the same day, STOP. If we want anything we will come to you but you're ruining my rest, my vacation. The rest had nothing to do with the resort. The airport sucked...no direction. Rude people. No idea or direction to buses, no one out with signs...was very confusing and had to ask many people. The weather sucked. The water was freezing. The service sucked. From the top to the bottom...only three were wonderful..that is sad . I have been to many other places including Cuba, Dominican and got treated better in all aspects... For the price we paid to go here... unbelievable. Paid way less for other places and service and food was 100 times better . We did not like this resort at all. We Will never go back. Sad, as this was, a few of us, first time to Mexico... Was extremely excited...to be down right disappointed to the point of never wanting to go back to Mexico... But most definitely NEVER to this resort..

Staff needs more training with customer service.

The food wasn’t great but staff was helpful. Our tablet got stolen out of our room. Safe didn’t work. Hotel is old. Wouldn’t recommend.

Great for kids. Location is perfect, fun beach and pools. Clean hotel, staff is awesome but the food is SO bad. Our kids even asked to go somewhere else because the buffet is that bad. The snack bar is also terrible. Cold everything. The Crown in Cancun has way better food if you are basing your trip on food.

The stay was ok. Having stayed at this resort in the past multiple times and also.getting married there this stay was nothing like it use to be. It started with check in being an hour and half behind we could not check in at 3 we finally got into our room at 430. The hotel is not kept up as it once was. There was garbage in hall ways and stairwells that were there the entire week of our stay. Our room the beds were made up every day but they never left clean towels but would take away the dirty. The bar service at pool side was rare . The server that would come around was not very knowledgeable and more often then not would get the orders incorrect. The restaurants if you can get reservations were delightful especially the italian restaurant, the Mediterranean restaurant was alright and rhe french we never went to and you cant bring children in there after 7pm. The buffet was literally the same thing day in and out. Tv viewing if you are looking for any english channels not a thing. The night time entertainment at the club was great and is good for families old or young.
