Good family trip. It’s just me and my 2 kids and we had a blast

Our stay at Crown Paradise was extremely disappointing from the moment we arrived, and unfortunately the issues only continued throughout our trip. Within minutes of entering our first room, it was obvious it had not been properly cleaned or prepared. The mini-fridge contained a previous guest’s medication along with opened food and beverages, and it had not been restocked. We had to visit the front desk multiple times over several hours before anyone came to address this. That same evening, we reported several serious room issues: a patio door that would not stay closed, extremely unstable bunk beds that were unsafe for our child, pooling water in the bathroom likely caused by a leak, and an air conditioner that would not cool the room despite being set to the lowest temperature. No one came to fix these problems. The next day, after visiting the reception desk again, we were finally moved to a different room — only to have to move again the next day due to continued issues and our AC not working. Moving rooms once on vacation is inconvenient; having to do it twice is exhausting and unacceptable, especially with no assistance. Beyond the room problems, the overall resort experience fell far short of expectations. The buffet food was consistently poor in quality and selection. The snack hut rarely opened on time, which was frustrating when traveling with a family and a child (6). Making reservations at the restaurants was nearly impossible, and when we were finally able to get in, the food was very underwhelming and not worth the effort. For the price we paid, we expected a clean, functional room, reliable service, and enjoyable dining options. Instead, we spent a significant portion of our vacation dealing with unresolved issues, waiting in lines, eating off the resort/ordering Uber Eats and lowering our expectations. Unfortunately, this resort did not deliver the level of service, comfort, or value that was promised, and we would not return or recommend it.

We have absolutely loved our stay! This is our first time in PV and what a joy it’s been. The hotel may be a little dated and need some repairs here and there but if that is noticed it’s forgotten immediately. The staff are so helpful and friendly, the food is great and the entertainment is so fun! There are tons of options (foam party, pool volleyball, etc) so there’s a little something for everyone. You even have the option to go to the next door resort and do activities such as painting a dish that you can pick yourself. Having the club next door is such a great option and the performers are so talented and their joy doing what they do is so contagious. They do shows every night and are amazing at getting the crowd super pumped up and enjoying themselves. We were on the Golden side but loved going over to the Club side to check things out. We can definitely see why so many people choose to come back over and over. This place is what my soul needed ❤️

I've had a great first experience in PV at the Golden Crown. The staff (including Tony and Alan) have all been incredibly friendly and helpful. The food is great, as well as the drinks and atmosphere. First time hearing the live band by the pool and loving them!

We had a great time here, the resort is a bit outdated but the weather and view was great!

They scammed us!!! We were in the royal Caribbean cruise, made a stop in puerto Vallarta. Our kids and wives ran into a friend who is staying there, she offered the kids two hot dogs and some fries from the pool side. After leaving there for the beach, the security guard, Jimenez, followed the ladies and kids to the beach, asking for money. We were then forced to go to the lobby, and pay about $80 to Martin and Diana at the reception (they started asking for $140, then they agreed on $80). We were threatened not to be allowed to leave unless we pay $80 for the two hot dogs offered by a friend staying there!!! Be careful cruisers, there is a money grab going on there! Stay off of their properties and beaches!
