Crown Paradise Club Puerto Vallarta All Inclusive

This is a very old resort with minimal maintenance done. The pictures you see on their website is from when it was brand new and in no way reflects the state of the resort now. Rooms are cleaned daily, hot water out of the sink cold water only showers. The site says the internet is free whereas they wanted to charge us for it. They advertise this as a 4 star hotel. I would be generous and call it 3 max! The service is absolutely atrocious, there’s Mexican time and then this place. For example we waited at the front desk funny enough to speak about the wifi, as we were there a lineup developed behind us 5 or 6 couples between the 8 people behind the counter only one was working, the others all laughing and having a good time, a manager stuck her head out of the office looked around and went back in. Waited 38 min to speak with someone. The food is boarder line disgusting, ultra simple, cold, and absolutely no passion put into it, but maybe I have to thank them for the poor quality it’s not very often you go to an all inclusive and lose weight. Again there is a person working behind but just looks at you when you have to stick your hand under the glass to try and get what little is left from the pan because everything is always picked through but they don’t care. Faster to get your own drink than wait for a server. They do have an alacarte restaurants on a lottery system, I’ll explain because this was not explained to us, there is a scan code the reservation start at 9am, you have until 905am to book or your reservation or your stuck eating at that crap buffet. We got to eat an à la carte once in 7 days at the Italian restaurant which was ok. Obviously I’ll never come back here and maybe because I assumed it was a four star my expectations were a bit too high. The plus and it really has nothing to do with the resort, the beach is nice, aside from the insane amount of peddlers trying to sell you their cheap junk. The ocean was nice with mostly sandy bottom. Most of the resorts sun shades on the beach are falling apart and the chairs to sit on have never been cleaned so bring a cloth to wipe all the bird poop off and sticky spilled drinks from the day previous. Anyways everyone’s options is their own, like I said I would never stay here again nor would I recommend it to anyone. If I was the hotel manger of this resort I would be embarrassed. Not good! Not good at all!

This was our first excursion as a couple. Let me explain why I give it five stars as your mileage will vary. The reception was fine. The room was fine; the a/c worked. The bed was fine ( I like a firmer mattress than my wife so she wasn't super happy with it). The TV was ( I thought ) terrible. All Spanish ( fine we are in Mexico) but the picture was awful. Bought a USB c to hdmi cable and the picture was great. I know you don't go on vacation to watch TV but we like to be able to unwind at the end of a long day with the TV ( typically about 20 minutes for us to fall asleep and it was nice to have it). Food was abundant and varied well throughout the day. Was it fancy or memorable? no. Was there enough variety at every meal so that we didn't just eat the same thing every time. Absolutely. No issue with the quality and no upset stomachs ( we ate there every day at least twice ). The resort is right on the beach and the dining room overlooks the Pacific. The beach is deep and goes for miles so no trouble finding a spot and going for walks. There is not a lot to do on the resort. So why is it five stars for me ? Location. So much is walking distance ( or a cheap Uber or an even cheaper bus ride). We had a blast exploring the old town and went all the way north to Nayarit. The old town ( Zona Romantica) felt suffocatingly touristy and more than a little sketchy( were offered drugs on the street in the middle of the day ). Nayarit felt like a high-end tourist bubble with no local or reasonable shops. This location struck the perfect balance for us. The Walmart across the street was a saviour more than once ( I know you don't go on vacation for Walmart but when you need flip flops/socks etc trust me you go to Walmart). Lots of kids on the resort but that doesn't bother us. We will be back. Not on our next vacation but definitely one day.

We had a very nice family stay at this hotel in Puerto Vallarta. Our two boys had an amazing time, especially in the kids’ pool it was definitely the highlight of the trip for them and made our vacation very special. We don’t usually leave reviews, but we wanted to share our experience to help other families. Overall, our stay was very good. The food was tasty and we enjoyed the buffet, although sometimes there was a long line for breakfast. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to get reservations at the specialty restaurants, but the buffet options were still enjoyable. Most of our experience was positive. There was one moment at the pool where a lifeguard was a bit too strict while we were playing calmly with our kids, even though they were wearing life jackets. After bringing it to the hotel’s attention, the situation improved, and the rest of our pool time was very enjoyable. Our room was comfortable and nice. The only small issue was an unpleasant odor coming from the shower, but we placed a wet towel over the drain and that helped a lot during our stay. On our departure day, checkout was at noon and our airport transportation was scheduled for 2:00 pm. Once our wristbands were removed, we were no longer able to eat, which was a little difficult while waiting with two young kids. Overall, we had a lovely stay and our children truly enjoyed their time. With a few small improvements, this hotel can be a great option for families visiting Puerto Vallarta.

We arrived and were greeted warmly, found our room clean and beds comfortable! The shower has very hot water thats nice after a long day of beach sand sun We have breakfast with everyone being so friendly Germin goes out of his way brings me hot coffee and ice cream for my husband as well as all the servers to bring us anything .. omelets and coffee and lunch we liked tacos Dinner we see Jose’ who makes our day with his smile and great attitude!! He always goes out of his way as he his the host with the most❣️ Humberto always is fast with a smile and helpful Susi was sweet at the front and speaks english well and helped us greatly .. clean atmosphere, rooms. We slept well, and I was just nice to see people smile , and we are happy to go back.

Terrible trip! Do not be fooled, the promotional videos and pictures must be from 15-20 years ago. Resort is run down with broken tiles and cement throughout. Pool tiles are chipping off. Wires stick stick out of a muddy exit from the kids waterslide area. Front desk staff are amongst the rudest in the World and will walk away from you and not help. Not a lot of English or willingness to fumble through a conversation together. 2 days we did not have drinking water in our room; front desk said they would send someone and didn't, had to go to the store and buy water (also we were with a baby drinking formula so pure water was essential). Stench on floor 1 is enough to make you wretch (and I grew up near a fish gut reduction plant). Elevators either did not work or worked sporadically. One day we did not have cold water in our room, no notice was provided, and we could not flush the toilet or shower all day. Al le carte dinner booking system is extremely finicky and would not work for us; front desk could not tell us our room number and told me to learn how to use the internet better, however they could not book dinners either. Breakfast line can be extremely long after 9am, however beach snack bar offers breakfast but you have to figure it out on your own. Night club is down the alley and across the street but you need to figure this out on your own as well as staff are not helpful. Had to change rooms and 2/3 offered has people staying in them, awkward. Save your $ and go elsewhere. This is not a 4 star resort!! 1 star at best. Air Canada needs to take it off their vacations website.

Hotel and facilities are in bad need of an update. Our original honey room suite was horrible, outdated, and very uncomfortable. Fortunately, we were able to get a three bedroom suite which was fantastic! Saved our vacation.

Really in 2 minds about this place. The property and pools were nice and clean. The beach lovely except for the typical vendors bothering you non stop. The food was not bad but very limited variety. Staff is great except the guy in the Asian restaurant. Mariza needs a shout out, wherever we went she was there and working. The resort is 5min walk to the cruise port to join excustions which if very convenient. 3 min walk to groceries if you need something. Ony went to one show and it was amazing. With kids 9pm is a bit late. Beds are hard but I am personally good with that. Now the not so good. The rooms are bare minimum, I had to ask for a coffee machine which I got 2 days later after asking a second time. Then you need to ask for cofee every other day, the cleaner never once removed to coffee ground or thought of replacing the cofee if it was done. (Btw it was very good coffee). The food on the buffer was without exception cold! The finer detail in room cleaning was NOT there. I point the corner of spiderweb to the cleaner and she removed it and left the spot 5in to the left of it. The toilet and shower design is terrible. You have to step out of the toilet to pull up your pants, the shower head was not adjustable anymore and was so hard on your skin. The design is such that the whole floor is flooded once you done showering. The room took 3 days to cool from 24 to 22 deg C. The bar fridge was not cold when we got there, I turned it down and at some point is was leaking all over the floor. Phone in the room does not work at all. With people at reception hardly speaking English and after taking 2 days to get a coffee machine I did not bother to complain. Bed and linen was clean and we had enough towel to put everywhere on the floors every day. I know it is not a 5 star report, but if this is 4 stars I dont want to see what a 3 star will be like. The place have all the features and location to be a true 4 star or even 5 star.

We went for 8 days mid-January. On the plus side there were 3 pools and 4 restaurants, all just steps from our room. The room... the toilet howled and water leaked on the floor. They fixed that after a few days and many soaked towels. The safe was broken and we were told he'd be back in a few minutes with a new one. Never came. The food was OK, but virtually the same every day. In Mexico but no good Mexican food. We picked this place since it was close to town and had good reviews. The beach was nice, although crawling with annoying vendors. The French restaurant was the best, the Italian a close second, but we found the Japanese one didn't measure up. All in all some good, some bad.

THERE HAS TO SOMETHING ABOUT THE DAY BEDS AND POOL LOUNGES PERSONS ARE DROPPING THEIR STUFF AT 1100 PM AND NOT GOING DOWN UNTIL NOON THE NEXT DAY THIS IS VERY FUSTRATING AS THE SINAGE SAYS NOT ALLOWED. STAFF HAS TO PUT A STOP TO THIS

We are going there with the whole family in march and sincerely hope that all these bad reviews are taken care of. Spending good money coming from canada and are looking for a great experience.
