Econo Lodge Traverse City South

We stay here while we were fishing in the area. The first room that we were given had an odor to it but we went to the front desk and they happily moved us a a much better room. Very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We ended up extending our stay for three days. This coming weekend they will be opening up an Asian restaurant in the hotel. They have done many updates to the hotel since we were there two years prior. The weekly rates are very affordable. We will be back again.

First impression wasn’t good

No one at the desk at checkout. I rang the believe and they still didn't come.

It’s dirty the shower wall is broken and they just put putty on it we walked in and there was a man that pulled in stumbling around and drunk out of his mind. We paid for 2 queen beds and we got beds barely bigger than a twin size bed. Only half of the TV remote works the coffee maker is filthy. Everything is just gross

Cheap place to stay, but I think it cost a little more than it’s worth

The hot tub was completely green , pool had mildew in it too. Unswimmable

The lack of fans in the bathroom caused the room to become a humid sauna. The clothing on the hangars was damp damp damp.

it would have been alot better if my wife hadn't killed 2 roaches in the bathroom! The price way too high!

Recently remodeled since last stay

The hotel was under renovations, but our room was recently updated and felt clean and modern. Nothing fancy but a good price near lots of the Traverse Area attractions.
