Very rude staff, felt very unsafe

Toliet was nasty

Property lacked elevator so had to request a first floor room. Although our reservation was for 2 queen beds all first floor rooms only had double beds. Windows were unwashed, bed was broke and motel main entry doors were in disrepair and didn’t lock.

For the $200 a night, it was not very good. Squeaky beds, no light or fan unit above mirror in bathroom. Advertised continental breakfast - there wasn’t any. Very basic room. Outside area look old and not maintained. Both signs by road were either hanging crooked or sitting on the ground. Will not be returning to this econo lodge.

Worst stay ever. If I'm paying $300 a night, I'd expect to have a room worth that price. The A/C did not work so the room was 85+ degrees. Opened the window to try to cool off and the screen was all bent up so we got to enjoy flying bugs all night while we dripped with sweat. Bathroom was below par. Stained towels. Dirty toilet. Exhaust fan sounded like a freight train. There was some kind of nasty goo on the wall by the trash can. The room safe didn't work because there were no batteries in the keypad.

The property was a little date, however, I could see that there had been some upgrades made.

I expected more for $249 per night !! We rented two rooms the 2nd week of July. The air conditioner in both rooms did not work and it was HOT - sweat dripping down my back in bed hot. In one room there were two queen beds. As soon as you stepped in the room you could see the HUGE dip in the middle of the bed. The ceramic tiles around the toilet were cracking. In the middle of the night (with bare feet because it was so hot) you could feel ceramic cracking under your feet and I thought i would wake up to glass shards in my skin. We booked this location due to its proximity to Interlochen and that's about the only positive I can find here. It was a close Uber ride away from the concert venue.

Good location conveniently located to nearby cities. Necessities met. Thank you.

Felt like a “seedy” motel, broken tile, dark narrow hallways, no locking, fan in bathroom didn’t work, light on mirror not working, caulking dirty, noise from small refrigerator kept us awake until unplugged, torn up parking lot, general feeling was questionably safe, property was in bad condition. Good location close to Interlochen, that was our destination.
