Comfort Inn Charlotte Airport Uptown

Nothing!!

My room was filthy, floors were nasty, microwave was dirty, toilet and bathroom was disgusting, the room smelled just like cigarettes not a cleaning product was used in the room. Most importantly there were roaches crawling on the night stand. I had brought my own cleaning products to have a decent stay. I had asked the night time worker could I get a extra blanket because the blanket they had on the bed was very thin more like sheets instead of a blanket and he was very rude and unprofessional told me no that was all they had.

Disgusting, dirty and full of mold!!! Our flight was cancelled and American Airlines provided a voucher for this roach infested mold hole! We stayed approximately 15 minutes, without unpacking a thing!! Just long enough to book a room elsewhere!! The mattress was FULL of mold. Roaches, alive and dead, everywhere! The smoke detector kept going off in the room as well. The entrance of the hotel smelled like marijuana and perfume. This is NOT a nice or safe area of Charlotte. We moved to the Hilton Garden Inn by the airport and it was spotless, clean and they have a cook to order breakfast menu too. My husband has terminal cancer and we had flown from Germany and then our connecting flight through Charlotte was suddenly cancelled. He was already so tired and I will be following up with American about this as well. Disgraceful and this hotel is a true dump!
