Was great

Nice big suite for our family. Did find a very old moldy bread in the cabinet above the fridge and the ventilation was funny (we had not so kid friendly smells wafting in from other rooms). Magically we happened to be staying there on a Wednesday, which is when the manager's reception with complimentary food and beverage happens, which was great!

Wonderful staff, we had an issue with our room and they immediately took care of the problem. The facility is clean, the rooms are spacious are comfortable. It has an outside pool great for families with small kids. Highly recommended

I am a Hilton diamond member and asked about a late checkout at the front desk for business reasons and the person told me there was no policy for late checkout! When I called Hilton to double check that they said that was wrong and I should have been given the late checkout. On top of that when I questioned the policy with her, since I travel a lot and knew more then she did relative to Hilton, that she said I was rude when I was simply questioning a policy I knew was not correct. The hotel never contacted me after I complained so they are all badly trained about hiltons policies. Was never acknowledged as a Hilton member so that also added to the poor service.

We needed a 2 bedroom, 2 bath suite for a short stay with our grandchildren, and Homewood Suites Liverpool met that need. Things like we liked about our suite: great, spacious layout. Parking was available immediately outside our door, which minimized steps and lugging of our suitcases. Everything in the suite seemed to work. I had occasion to use the washer/dryer (you must provide your own laundry detergent and softener), the microwave, etc. They accommodated our request for daily housekeeping, which was appreciated. Towels were plentiful and of a good quality. The full sized shampoo, conditioner, shower gel in the bath were also of a good quality and were full so we didn't run out! Although we were on the first floor, there were no signs of pests/insects, something that can't be taken for granted on the ground floor. Not so-good: The floors and rugs were not clean, which was disappointing. The bottom of my new white socks were very dirty after walking on them. We found this to be true during an earlier stay too. I know that the rugs and floors can't be shampooed/cleaned after very guest, but they can do better. (In fact, we continued our trip in a Homewood Suites in a different location and found the floors much cleaner.). My only other requests are to add a magnifying make-up mirror and to add a small trash receptacle in the toilet/shower area. All in all, it met our needs but it could have been a perfect stay if those few items were addressed.

The breakfast was good and the staff was accommodating.

The room was old, dingy and not updated the kitchen cabinets were broken and the bed was not comfortable.

The hotel is clean and was located very close to everything I needed. The bed was probably the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in. The staff was great. My check in was delayed over an hour because my suites toilet was messed up so they had to find me another room. But the staff was friendly and let me work out i the fitness center while I waited
