Sonesta ES Suites Chicago - Schaumburg

I went to the Sonesta twice and this is the second time they haven't given my my deposit back it's crazy I've been calling and calling and calling now I'm filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau

I love that it’s like a one bedroom apartment. Full kitchen and all. Great for a family staycation in the summer with the outdoor pool, court and grill.

Me and my husband stayed over a month ago and we haven’t gotten our $100 deposit back. I had to file a claim with customer support, now we have to take it to the corporate office. The property won’t even reply back to our request. Such bad services. Will never stay here again. And on top of that had to move rooms because the first one was dirty. Hair all over the bed, walls had stains. And towels were dirty and the headboard was so old it was falling apart.

If you’re looking for a spacious suite hotel with good location and helpful staff, this property is worth considering — especially for families or longer stays. Just be aware that some parts of the property feel dated and housekeeping/service consistency can vary. Overall, it’s a solid mid-range choice for Schaumburg travels. Oh and the coffee is thee BEST coffee you will ever have. It beats all other hotel coffee around. HANDS DOWN. You won’t be disappointed!

Location and size of room

Some cleanliness and maintenance issues need to be addressed. The shower head fell off in one of the rooms of the two bedroom suite. There was no face towels in room and some kitchen smallwares were missing. Then when I went to go get face towels from the front desk I was greeted with a look like I’m asking for too many towels. I asked for 4 towels that’s how many people were staying in the room. Then on top of that we had police banging on our door in the middle of the night for an altercation that was going on above us. I didn’t answer the door but it woke me and my kids out my sleep. This is not the standard I’m used to staying here I’ve always had a great experience but this time was not great.

Great location near restaurants shopping mall.

The couches and carpets were dirty I had to put a blanket over the couch and keep my grandson on the bed. Your cleaning crew need to put on some clothes. She was cleaning the room below me and only had on a thin sundress no panties or bra! So disrespectful to the guests!!

I get a 1 bedroom apartment to stay in and it's awesome! The staff is great. The wifi became difficult at times but eventually worked out.
