Just by the beach. Friendly check in. Had a small room, ok for 1, not a couple. Nice balcony overlooking the pool and water. Small gym with only treadmills and free weights, no machines. Nice breakfast at Splashes

SUCH a lovely resort. The rooms are truly gorgeous and the views are some of the beset in Laguna Beach. Staff is friendly and attentive but not overbearing. The patio doors that push all the way back into the wall make it feel like you're right next to the ocean even from bed. Having straight access to the beach is huge and the lower bar area has unbeatable environment and views. If you're considering this hotel as a splurge I couldn't recommend it more.

Rooms literally feel like you’re over the ocean. Incredible service, gorgeous restaurant. Don’t miss sunset happy hours and live music by the fire pits! My only constructive feedback would be to stop selling pool day passes to non guests. Gets very loud and crowded; for the hotel price point I would expect a (much) more exclusive experience for hotel guests. At the least, reserve prime areas for paying guests and don’t sell day passes on the weekends. Else add a guest only pool!

I stay at The Surf & Sand every time I visit Laguna & have nothing but great things to say Great location, nice rooms, friendly staff & always have an amazing time at the beach & pool Shoutout to Hannah at the front desk. She has went above & beyond for me multiple times to get me the best room & always makes sure we're having a good time I recommend The Surf & Sand Resort if you're staying in Laguna Beach. Tough to beat it!
