Red Roof Inn Clearfield

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Typically, my husband and I are not overly picky since we don't spend much time in the room anyways. This place was an absolute dump. Trash everywhere. We checked in Friday afternoon and checked out Sunday morning. The same trash that was thrown all over the walkways Friday at check in, was still present on Sunday at check out. Dog poop was smeared all over the walkway and staircase for 2 days as well. Absolutely disgusting place. Also, be aware there were several shady people who seem to be living here full time. Room was OK. Bare minimum. Bed wasn't too bad.Pillows were paper thin with no cases on them. We went out and bought our own pillows and pillow cases. Overall I would not recommend staying here unless you have no other choice.

Overall this was a good stop-- we were overloaded with kids and a dog and pulled in late. The staff were friendly and helpful, both in the PM and AM. They were quick to provide water, get our rooms near one another, and get us checked in. The rooms were fine-- clean and ready to go, particularly in this price range. The other people staying at the motel were also friendly and courteous. The grounds are good for a dog to walk around and it seemed safe. The only downside is occasional noisiness that the walls allow through (it is a motel, so people don't always use "inside voices") and a bit of trash that individuals left out around the stairwell. The immediate area has enough in terms of gas, convenience, and a few restaurants. If you need a layover for a good price, as we did, this place does the trick. The facility is dated, but everything you need is there.

Very accessible , bathroom would have benefitted from some sort of vanity.

No internet, garbage everywhere outside, room’s cleanliness was questionable, and the breakfast was the bare minimum. This hotel has gone way downhill since I last stayed (and I’m not picky for an overnight stay). Would not recommend.

We asked for a handicapped room. It was spacious and large enough for our mobility scooter. Great restaurant adjacent. Very friendly staff.

The Red Roof Inn in Clearfield Pa was the dirtiest motel I’ve ever seen. The stairwells and balconies were covered in trash, old spills, stains, dirt and appeared to have not been cleaned in months. Surprisingly the room itself was clean. The folks in the room next to me partied loudly until 2am but given what I saw as front desk help, I didn’t think calling to complain would do much good. The motel is a disgrace. I doubt this note will ever be read or acted upon but I feel better having done my civic duty reporting this filthy motel.

Staff Was Super Friendly and helpful. Property was clean and well cared for.

Breakfast was a joke.Hotel overall not in great shape. Room was spartan compared to other times we have stayed in Red Roof over last 35 years. Internet worthless. Staff was having problems try to check us in.NOT WORTH $133 including fees

Rooms are in need of upgrades. The halls were dirty and there were piles of dirt and cigarette butts that had been swept into a pule but left behind. We had small gnats coming out of the sink overflow hole. Would not recommend at this time.

as far as our stay,,, the bathroom had a smell to it,, not sure if it was mold or what but it was unpleasant. Linnens were stained,,, staff was courteous,,, but the area was not kept very well.
