Hampton Inn & Suites Nashville-Vanderbilt-Elliston Place

Bed was extremely uncomfortable. King size bed with standard pillows and only 4 for 2 people. $42/ night for parking was ridiculous.

Breakfast was ok. Bed very comfortable!! Quiet atmosphere. FELT SAFE Sweet registration assistant did help us look for a luggage cart and then helped us with a load of luggage. Kudos to her for offering!! She's definitely a keeper and asset to your business. Have always stayed Drury, even for my private consultant business until I had to retire. Always consistent.

NEED MORE LUGGAGE CARTS!! Disabled and had surgery there. My friend had had neck surgery. We were unable to find a luggage cart anywhere to unload our car AND upon leaving. Big ding for us! PARKING FEE! Really?? The last time we were there for surgery, no parking fee. NO DISCOUNTS! Last time we stayed we got an AARP and medical discount! COST OF ROOM was ok, but high for us.

Having to pay for parking which I was not aware of until after I made the reservation. Then I was told it would be $35 but was not told that is taxed so I paid over $42 for one night to park. For this reason alone, I will not be back.

A few of the pillows smelled like food. My windows treatments would not raise and lower. Paying for parking. We were there because a family member had been in the Vanderbilt hospital with a new cancer diagnosis. If I'm staying at a hotel where else am I going to park? It cost me $105!!! Ridiculous!

Paying for parking. What a ripoff. $105! Why are you charging for parking??? That's 3 tanks of gas. That's 2 to 3 meals for 3 people. We were there because a family member was diagnosed with cancer and was a patient at VUMC.

If you are on a tight budget I would not recommend this Hampton Inn. They have contracted our their parking. So you are paying for the cost of the room and the parking is $45 per night, You also have to scan in the parking on your iphone and put in all the information - this is ALL separate from the price of the hotel, where the parking was an added fee to Hampton on the total price of the stay. This is no more. It appears the guest is not a priority - the rooms are run down. If you need to be there as it is close to the hospital- just be aware of this cost- the room looks reasonable but when you add in the parking it is not - I will not stay there any more as a former Diamond Member- The Hampton Inn in Green Hills is much more reasonable - Front end desk was not very friendly either. It looks the care they take for guests has changed.

Paid too much for parking my car in lot.

Room was very clean and tidy.

Desk person was not helpful and seemed reluctant to get up from her chair to get us anything.. Bed mattresses were medium firm and not comfortable. All breakfast items ran out as there were many guests, literally only bread left.
