We had a very pleasant stay this past week. Jamya and Mohid provided excellent front desk service. Jamya even shared her tips on exploring downtown Calgary. Anusha was delightful and friendly as she served our meals.

Clean and cosy and extremely confident in location for the Jube.

The room we had was ground floor with the window looking out to the car park. We just left out blinds closed to retain privacy so no major issue.

The girl working the front desk in the morning was super cute and incredibly friendly — really set a positive tone for the stay. The room was comfortable, and the walk-in shower was great. They even provide surprisingly good shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Honestly, for what it is, you can’t do much better than the Aloft.

I only wish there was a hot tub and steam or sauna at the pool!

Great hotel no complaints! Service was amazing at the desk! Hotel was clean and smelled nice. Kids had a great time at the pool and it was such a warm pool!

My husband and I stayed at the hotel for three nights over the Thanksgiving weekend. Frankly, I am surprised at some of the other very positive Trip Advisor reviews because we have decided that we will not return to this particular hotel on our future trips to Calgary. We do anticipate visiting the city multiple times a year from now on. We stayed in a double queen room. On a positive note, the beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. It was nice to have a small fridge. On the first two mornings, we received a note pushed under our bedroom door advising that the room would not be serviced due to the "Do Not Disturb" sign being displayed in the morning. It is true that we had the sign out overnight but the hotel's breakfast was still available when this was done - - we were not late leaving the room either day. Both days we went to the front desk to request that the room be serviced and it was. With respect to the breakfast, there was no yoghurt, orange juice, muffins or Danish available. We saw scrambled eggs and potatoes on two consecutive days. Sausages were offered one day and back bacon the other. There was oatmeal and cereal available plus bread for toasting. Comparatively speaking, it was a pretty boring, uninspired hotel breakfast. The breakfast room doubles as a lounge in the evening. It is quite dark. We are Marriot rewards members and have definitely enjoyed better breakfasts at other Marriott properties. Finally, I want to describe the bathroom /shower area. The walk in shower and toilet are enclosed by a sliding door. There was a towel bar above the toilet and one small hook on the wall. No door knobs or other towel bars to hang towels or clothing or a toiletry bag on inside or outside the shower area. In the bathroom area, there was no way to minimize the lighting for nighttime trips to the toilet. The switch that controlled the light in the toilet also controlled the lighting by the sink area which was not behind a door. There was no natural light. So, if you anticipated getting up through the night, you could either leave the bathroom lights on all night or turn both on and off in the middle of the night. Some hotels resolve this by having a small, dim light built into a light switch or electric outlet. If I were staying again, I would pack a night light. All in all, it was a meh experience for us. We did not use the pool or gym.

Very friendly staff! Convenient and excellent spa in the facility. Clean room and facilities. Free breakfast. Great restaurants nearby and an hour drive from Kananaskis 👌👏
