Harshita is absolutely AMAZING at the front desk. From the moment you walk in, she is warm, welcoming, and incredibly kind, and she makes every interaction feel effortless. She is professional, attentive, and so efficient, while still being genuinely friendly and personable. During our stay Harshita consistently went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly, and you can tell she truly cares about the people she helps. Her positive energy, calm demeanour, and attention to detail made such a difference, and she sets the standard for exceptional customer service. She is a true standout and an absolute asset to the team. Anyone who gets help from Harshita is lucky to have her!! Highlight of our stay!!

Very close to restaurants and the C Train to get anywhere in Calgary without driving. The breakfast is excellent (lots of choices) and the staff were excellent! They were able to accommodate me easily and I really appreciated that!

It’s getting dated and I had to run the cold/hot water was a bit finicky.

Great location near the university. Rooms were clean and cozy. And the atmosphere in the lounge was fun! Lots of things for people to do.

Good value for money crash for a night or two.Breakfast was great. Rooms were spacious. Staff was good too. No complaints.

This is normally a good place to stay but my recent experience was disappointing. On the good side of this hotel: the location is convenient, the rooms are sleek, clean and modern, and the breakfast is very good. The disappointments were as follows: - the safe in the room didn't work and I had to call to have it fixed. This seems like something staff could check as part of their regular duties preparing rooms; - the iron left a gross smear of brown goo on my white shirt after it was warmed up. I had to run around and buy another shirt for a reception I was attending later that day. Yes, I should have checked the sole plate of the iron by testing it on a towel but I forgot. However, the hotel should ensure the amenities it provides are suitable for use. Hotel staff provided a replacement iron. Once I was home, it took several washes and some powerful stain remover to dislodge the stains. - the room (331) showed some deferred maintenance - weird big scars on the wallpaper in the washroom and a missing tile; - the hotel hosted a large number of school-age kids who stampeded around the hallways and yelling till about 9:45 PM. There was no sign of chaperones keeping their charges under control and nobody from the hotel seemed to check what was going on upstairs, even though there are cameras in the hallways. I told the manager about these issues when I checked out, this is not a review where I am blind-siding management. I will probably stay here again; for Calgary this hotel offers excellent value and normally provides a good experience.

Stayed here with my family. I never get housekeeping service and always put my DND on the door. We went out to go to the Science Center and the outlet mall and we were gone all day - with the DND on the door. Housekeeping went in and cleaned our room. No big deal except they touched all of our things, and I put all of our laundry in a bag in the open bin in the room its where I normally store it because I NEVER get housekeeping service. Well they emptied the bin. I went to the front desk and they said oh they wont have thrown it out we will look for it and she will tell her manager. Okay... so next morning, the front desk agent either didnt put it in the pass on and never told the manager because the front desk was like no we dont know anything about this, I say okay we will go for breakfast then talk, they say houskeeping said we called and asked for our rooms to be cleaned so thats why they cleaned it, but they will still look for our clothes. So they say there is nothing we can do but contact our managers because they are all gone for training. So we check out. I call as I havent heard anything, this time they say housekeeping told them that we came back and we had taken our DND off the door, I said that is impossible becuase we were out all day. Fast forward like a month and the FD supervisor and I talk. She agreed it is frustrating and I thought she said she would reimburse us $125 and as her GM if she can add points. I accepted this. Next I find out she says that we had agreed on Marriott points, to compensate for THROWING OUT MY FAMILYS CLOTHES! Anyway here we are, they dont care, they gave me 7000 points which is the equivalent of $56 Canadian Dollars. Never going there again and it is the lying and lack of response that makes this a terrible hotel.

The building was old, the initial room I was presented, the air quality was very poor. I had to ask another room. Other room looked reasonably but I was bit by a bed bug during my sleep, therefore I had to Leave hotel and find an another one. I am requesting my money back please. Thank you

Worse hotel I ever stayed

The room is very spacious and well equipped. The atmosphere is absolutely inviting and friendly from the moment you check in to the moment you leave. The lounge is a great place to meet fellow travellers and Alumni from the University of Calgary and the staff, I don’t think you guys get enough Kudos and appreciation. I appreciate everyone of them that helped make this Alumni and future students welcome. I always come back here when in Calgary.
