Aloft by Marriott Calgary University

I have stayed at Aloft frequently. The staff are friendly and the rooms are clean.

During this visit the breakfast was very poor. Items were cold, toaster wasn't working correctly and quantities availabel for a number of items was very limited.

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay at Aloft Hotel. The check-in process was very smooth, and the agent greeted us with a warm smile. She was always smiling, very helpful, and attentive to me and my family. She was truly excellent and even remembered my name, which made the experience feel very personal and special. I'm sorry I forgot to ask her name. The room was also great—clean, comfortable, and well prepared for our stay. Overall, our stay was wonderful, and we had a very pleasant experience at Aloft Hotel. We would definitely be happy to stay here again.

Breakfast was OK. Standard Free Breakfast

Rooms were very small. King size bed equipped rooms were farthest from entrance. Quite inconvenient. Bathroom fixtures need updating. Promised pet extras were not supplied, water bowl and treats. Pet fee was charged. No area to walk dog, except city boulevard. Restaurant was terrible. Pleasant waitress but very poor food.

Staff are fantastic. They take the time to learn your name and ensure your stay is going well. Continental breakfast is enjoyable (especially on bacon days). Easy access to the Foothils hospital and there are several dining options close at hand.

stayed at this hotel for several days and was very satisfied. The room was clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. Highly recommended for travelers who want easy access to public transportation (2 minutes walk to Ctrain Station). The receptionist was also very friendly, Adilla helped me with the check-in process. I will definitely stay here again if I visit Calgary in the future.

I had an absolutely lovely experience at Aloft. I would love to thank Gio for his incredible hospitality, his great sense of humour, and his care for his guests and making sure all our needs were met. I would also love to thank Gurnit and Sheryl for being absolutely wonderful sales managers and I had awesome experiences with them showing me around the hotel and making sure I was accommodated. I would also like to thank the front desk staff. Jemma, Harshita, Amra, Adilla, and Mohit were usually working the morning and afternoon shifts. They were absolutely incredible and were as accommodating as you could ever hope. I also would like to thank the night shift staff. Normal, Nitish, and Nabil. They were all absolutely incredible and were always there for me whenever I needed anything. I made friends with most of the staff thanks to how nice and caring they were. I felt like a genuine guest and not just a number on the screen, and I’ve never felt that to such an extent at any other hotel or any other place of residence for that matter. I would also like to thank Joseph, and the rest of the housekeeping staff, who were all wonderful and made this place feel like a genuine home. It felt so much more than a dorm room or a place of residence. It felt like this was actually home. Thank you so much to everyone at Aloft who made this possible, I love you all so much. ♥️♥️♥️

All the staff is so friendly and accommodating. Jemma is very kind and easy to talk to. The girls at the front desk complimented us every time we passed by. It is a great environment.
