We stayed as a couple, but were part of a larger party staying here as a base for the week for a family wedding in the Tuscan countryside. From the moment we checked in to leaving, the staff were all lovely and really helpful, special mention to Francesco on Reception, who helped us with car park directions for our son in law upon arrival, and then with locating a family member's purse which she had left behind on checking out. The hotel itself is lovely, very clean and our room was great, decent sized and modern. We were bed and breakfast, and while the breakfast was adequate snd nothing to complain about at all, it was quite basic compared to some other city hotels we have stayed at, next time we would probably just do room only and choose where to eat each day. The location is fantastic for the main train station for Pisa, which is directly opposite, and offers many routes - we used the train to explore and they are great, just remember to check for train strikes, which apparently happen often in Italy! (There was one while we were there, but it was clear from the train apps from days beforehand so we could plan around it). Pisa itself and the Tower about 20 min walk, but we did it lots of times, and it's fine. Pisa has lots of shops, restaurants, bars, and we found food and drinks we had to be lovely. We would definitely stay at this hotel again, and would recommend it. The only reason we have given 4 rather than 5 stars is for the lack of a hotel bar. It seems as though there was one at some point, as there is a bar area and plenty of seating, the seating area would have been a lovely place to enjoy a nightcap. Overall, a highly recommended, excellent choice for a stay in Pisa.

Angenehmes Hotel, gut ausgestattet.

Ideal location for train station

We were originally here for one night in a standard double room and we were very happy with it. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the air-conditioning was lovely. The location was also perfect- right next to the central train station When we missed our flight I had to hurriedly put ourselves in for another night and was thrilled that we were given a free upgrade to a family suite which has two separate bedrooms , a balcony and a separate lounge area. Touches like that really made this hotel shine - the staff were all wonderful.

Convenient location for the train station. Nice bathroom.

The AC didn't work when we first arrived and someone had to come to turn it on. The AC then broke on the second day, which was a very hot day. The staff were rude when we mentioned it and they refused to move us to another room. It ruined our night's sleep.
