eL Hotel Yogyakarta Malioboro

I am not sure who has written the reviews for this hotel but I stayed here for one night over the Lunar New Year and it is possibly one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. The rooms are dirty, the breakfast is poor quality, it is noisy and the service is hit or miss. Some of the staff are quite sweet but on the whole it was extremely over priced.

location. out the door, to the left, you immediately arrive at Malioboro. very convenient. staff friendliness

the door to the "balcony" are not allowed to be open. there is no balcony. it was just a decor.

Location is excellent - walking distance from the station with connections to the airport or elsewhere in Java. Plenty of shopping in the main street nearby and many local options to eat (street stalls etc.) as well as within walking distance. The pool is not great so this is a hotel more for the location. Ample buffet style breakfast with numerous different options including vegan or vegetarian. The staff were wonderfully helpful and friendly. The spa is not bad and very reasonably priced but it is small so book ahead if not during the day.

I did not find the pool area very appealing but I did not stay here for that. It is not a 'lie around the pool' type of place but more like a very comfortable central location.

Daman good location and nice enviroment . Staff very friendly and hotel is very clean indeed .
