Quinta da Pousadela

Nous avons été surclassés dans une maisonnette à 2 chambres. Appartement très propre, petit-déjeuner ( inclus ) délicieux. Belle piscine bien entretenue. Environnement très bien dans un vignoble. L'hébergement a été parfait. Le chemin menant à Quinta da Pousadela est assez surprenant, en pavé et assez abrupte avec un tournant en épingle. Heureusement que l'hébergement est exceptionnel.

We booked 2 nights but wish we had booked more! Lovely room, comfortable bed and good shower! There was a balcony with table & chairs for enjoying the birdsong. Breakfast was delicious as was their “homegrown” wine. The gardens are beautiful (even though we were put of season). Our host, Rita, was a font of info and a genuinely lovely person. Maria (the kitty) was super friendly and welcoming. We used the laundry service and received our clean, dry and folded washing 24 hours later. Everything was just perfect! Highly recommend.

El lugar es encantador. Está en medio de una viña lo que lo hace bellísimo y sumamente tranquilo. La atención es muy cálida. Ideal para un viaje en familia o pareja. Buen desayuno, este integra productos locales con otros típicos de cualquier desayuno. En el recinto te encuentras con edificaciones de piedra de larga data que en conjunto con aspectos propios de la naturaleza hacen de tu estadía algo peculiar e inolvidable. Mi familia y yo les sugerimos hacer con niños el mini circuito de trekking que tienen trazado en Pousadela. Todo nos gustó, desde los detalles como en lujo de tomar el vinho verde de edición limitada que producen en esa viña, hasta cada uno de los detalles de la maravillosa atención, pero lo mejor es estar en un lugar alejados de toda ciudad y con la tranquilidad que eso te proporciona.

Quinta da Pousadela has a wonderful woodlands setting, friendly staff, an excellent breakfast and very well appointed accomodation made this a memorable stay. I can heartily recommend this establishment, and it is also suitable for a family stay.

This place is absolutely amazing. Rita was an excellent hostess. we also had the pleasure of Maria, resident cat, share our room. BTW we are happy that happened. The place is beautiful, and Rita and her family are not seen. If anyone is planning to go to the Amarante area i would strongly suggest staying there. Breakfast was great and their wine was excellent also.

Geweldig lieve mensen met die typische portugese gastvrijheid die ze in alles lieten blijken. Een oase van rust temidden van de wijngaarden waar we met ons gezin verwend werden. Het ontbijt dat werd gebracht, mooi zwembad, uitgepijlde wandelingen, .. hier staat de klant centraal. De wijnen van het domein waren net als het domein zelf top!

מיקום מדהים. נוף עוצר נשימה. בקתות אבן משוחזרות מדהימות. בקיץ יש בריכה עם נוף להרים. ארוחת הבוקר הגיע בתוך סלסילה שתולים על הדלת, רעיון נחמד.

We spent 2 nights here. The room was lovely in a renovated historic farm building with sweeping rural views. Rita, the owner, is friendly and helpful. The restaurant was great, beautiful fresh cooked local food with lots of choices. You can walk on lovely trails through vineyards or forest. Child-friendly too. We loved this place and would highly recommend it.

Needing a place to stay near Amarante, we saw signs for the Quinta and followed them up a long winding road. We had planned to stay a couple of nights in Amarante, but arriving in the town and finding it a busy, built up place, nothing like its Rough Guide description, we fled for the hills! The Quinta de Pousadela was such a lucky find. We arrived out of the blue and out of season, but were welcomed and offered a lovely apartment for two nights. Grounds were beautiful, rooms comfortable, and a wonderful breakfast was provided in a basket, hanging on our door in the morning. Altogether a balm for the soul! (Sorry for late review, I broke wrist on way home a week later - operation etc, has taken time to get myself together!)
