Not worth the price. I booked a King room, the room is quite simple, no view at all, one small window looking at a concrete wall, A/C didn’t work properly so the room was freezing. At a rate of $400 (inc tax) per night value for money is very poor. Hotel did not recognise the offers I’d selected from Booking.com. In part Booking.com’s issue as not all the information is reached them, but I had emailed the hotel 4-5 days before arrival with questions and to confirm the offer from Booking and they didn’t respond, via Booking or via direct email. It was resolved in the end but it was a struggle at check-in.

Wonderful hotel with great staff! Centrally located in the city center. Rooms are very nice and ambiance of the hotel is lovely. There’s even an art gallery off the lobby. The rooftop restaurant is a great setting for breakfast too! I’d definitely stay here again!

If you’re having an event near Centro Historico booking with Umbral it’s the best option because all the stuff it’s very professional. They helped a lot when big groups especially Raul, he’s always looking after our guest when we have events and helps a lot in our overall staying since the administrative part before the guest arrive during their staying and of course, after making sure everything was OK. We highly recommend this place.!!

Everything was great, but I will say that it can get quite noisy early on, and there is a ton of traffic out front in the late afternoon and evening. So be prepared if you’re planning on taking Ubers to and from the hotel.

I had a lot of fun. The hotel is beautiful and the staff did an exceptional job of helping me even though I don't speak Spanish. ❤️

Front desk was very Friendly and efficient, Larissa with a big smile was going above and beyond. Felix at check in was very friendly very informative. Mario and Uriel were very informative and with big smile. All hotel was very clean and breakfast was delicious.

We stayed here as a couple and really enjoyed our time. The hotel is small, comfortable, and has everything you need for a pleasant stay. The service was truly amazing, everyone on the team was kind, helpful, and always ready to assist. Reception was always there with a big smile, which made us feel very welcome from the start. One small thing to mention is that the windows don’t open, so the room can feel a bit closed at times. Still, the warmth and attentiveness of the staff made our stay absolutely worth it. A lovely place for couples looking for comfort, great service, and friendly faces.

This hotel is small and definitely not your usual kind of place, it has a really artsy vibe and feels super cozy. It’s perfect if you’re traveling solo or as a couple and want something with personality instead of a big chain hotel. The location is very central, just around the Zócalo, so you’re close to everything, though it can get little difficult sometimes. During my stay there were some protests and a street closures, which made it a bit chaotic to move around. Even with that, the staff totally made up for it! Everyone was super kind and helpful. Special thanks to Larissa, Félix, and Alberto, they were all amazing and made my stay so much better. If you like art, good vibes, and friendly people, this is the place to stay!

The location was perfect. I was going to the Zocalo, and it was 7 minutes walking distance.

A little overpriced.

This is an amazing hotel. Manuel is phenomenal, Mario lovely, Felix so Great at the front desk. Andrea, Eduardo, Guadalupe and Alan are amazing. This is a spectacular hotel with amazing showers, comfortable rooms, tranquility and love. I will gladly come back!
