Thank you for an unforgettable stay at your beautiful property. Our first trip to CDMX and we chose to stay in the historic section of town. The Umbral is close to everything you would want to see, we walked all day. Huge thank you to Alberto for arranging transportation and for the recommendation to rent the bici bikes on Sunday. They close Reforma and it's open to bikes, skates, characters, boomboxes, and pedestrians. One of the highlights of the trip! On the ride we went by the LC, St Regis, Four Seasons, Marriott, Hilton.... We made the right choice to stay here! If you are on business only, those locations are much easier to navigate to and from, but they lack the charm and unique style of the Umbral. Maybe sterile is the word. Tips: As noted, the area is very popular on the weekends with locals enjoying concerts and the main square, and the roads are narrow, so traffic is real. We realized we were less than a mile from the hotel in our aiport uber, and we weren't moving. It was much faster just to get out and walk the last bit. Leaving for the airport Monday morning was a totally different situation, no cars, the uber was there in 2 minutes. It took 50 minutes from the airport on Saturday, and 20 min to go back to the airport on Monday. Breakfast is solid, not over the top. Great view and open air roofdeck. We were offerred choice of an entree, coffee, juice, and fruit of the day as Hilton Diamond members. Noise was not an issue. Even during this warmup weekend to the independence day celebration, the noise ended around 10:30pm and didn't start up again until around 11am. We had a window to the main street and no issues with noise. Los Cocuyus is around the corner for a quick bite, bib gourmand recommended tacos. We ate our way through Roma Norte, just a quick $7USD uber ride away. But, there are plenty of good restaurants in the area. Luiz gave us quite a few! Thank you to all the staff at the Umbral. From the concierge to the house keeping, the staff were exceptional. We asked Manuel to arrange transport to Teotihuacan Pyramids. He arranged this perfectly for us and our driver Ricardo made the trip even more special, a great driver and very polite and informative. As for the hotel and our room. It was faultless, outstanding cleanliness and the decor was simply class. The hotel also has an adjoining restaurant which we dined in twice. If you like fresh exquisite produce made with passion and presented like art, it is a must go to. Thanks again guys.

From the entrance which smells amazing to the check in @ reception, to the room, everyone is super kind and professional and exceptionally polite. The torta de milanesa was amazing for room service. The arrachera steak at the restaurant was really really good! And the Maracuya mojitos down in Agua de Ojo were splendid. Elisa our bartender was kind and made great drinks! We will definitely visit again! Gracias Ciudad de Mexico! Zócalo! Y todo la gente hermosa de nuestro México Lindo y Querido!

Best location near the Zocalo in Mexico City. Our scheduled tours were all conveniently located in walking distance which was great. The customer service was fantastic. Staff were friendly, courteous, and helpful. The beds were comfortable.

I had an amazing experience at Umbral Curio, where the attention to detail and the superb customer service truly stood out. I would like to especially recognize 2 team members: Eduardo, at reception, who provided a smooth c-in with a super positive attitude. Luis, from the Concierge team, whose experience and passion for tourism and customer service were evident. He went above and beyond by assisting with my luggage all the way to the street corner so I could catch my taxi, as the hotel street was closed due to a cycling event. Thank you for making my stay better!
